Beautiful Bristol Home across from Blithwolde Mansion

This place was incredible. If you think the pictures look great, just wait until you see it in person. Every inch of this home was so thoughtfully designed. I could easily picture having a family holiday celebration here. The entire house was beautifully maintained and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need.A special shout out to Donna and Bill, who truly made our trip exceptional. When I first booked the house back in February, I mentioned that we were hosting a wedding at the mansion across the street and needed help finding venues for the rehearsal dinner and the welcome reception. They sent me a list of fantastic local options, and every recommendation was perfect.Donna and Bill are two of the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I have ever met. They made me and my family feel like part of theirs. I highly recommend this home and the wonderful experience of working with them.

Above all expectations amazing accommodations Beats a 5 star hotel

This beautiful seaside home in a safe New England neighborhood offers a charming RI vibe. Ideal for families, wedding parties, or groups, it comfortably hosted our family reunion with 10 overnight guests and 18 visitors over a long weekend, ages 7 to 87, with plenty of space and quiet when needed. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated, featuring fully equipped kitchens, high-end appliances, and quality linens. The beds earned praise, including from a great-aunt with a hip replacement—all beds were plush and soundproofing kept noise to a minimum. The patio, pool, and hot tub provided endless fun and relaxation, while fast WiFi kept everyone connected. Hosts greeted us in person, provided welcome tips, and responded swiftly to questions, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The home was recently professionally cleaned, with fresh flowers adding a warm touch. When we left behind some sneakers, the host offered to send them back—exceeding our expectations. We’d love to return and highly recommend this lovely property. We felt like visiting friends' home and are already missing it!

We loved our stay in Bristol! We were there as a large family to celebrate my sister’s wedding. The house was the perfect place to all be together on that long weekend. The hosts were excellent and easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate! The pool was lovely and everything was as described. We would love to come back again!

I have never left a review for any vacation home I have ever stayed at; however this gem was just so perfect in so many ways for our wedding weekend that it would be an injustice to not share how special this home and its hosts are. The home is stocked with every household and travel item fathomable in its two kitchens, three dens, and truly private and incredibly comfortable 6 beds. The pool and grounds are maintained beautifully and provided us many professional photo opportunities for our wedding photographer The home readily accommodated our 10 bridesmaids and bride’s hair and make up appointments and lunch. If anyone is having a wedding at Blythewold, this home is across the street from the venue, making the rehearsal day an easy walk to save time, giving you more time to relax and walk the gardens in your free time. However, the most impressive part of this home is the people who own and live in it. They truly want their guest to feel at home and enjoy their community. They met us at the door when we arrived, showed us how to operate every amenity and were very gracious with our departure time, working outside in the yard while we packed up for our flights and reaching out to us to mail any left behind items. These hosts are icing on the cake of their warm, convenient and have everything home. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

This was a 5 Star Weekend from the day we arrived. Donna and Bill welcomed us with Champagne, Flowers and Scones, as well as a personal tour of their home. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Donna and Bill warmly welcomed us to there house and walked us through. House is spacious with 5 (plus a 6th off the primary) bedrooms. Extremely clean and well appointed! We will stay here again when we return to Bristol.

Great house for our family

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning property for our son's wedding, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the location and the thoughtful details throughout the house. The spacious layout made it ideal for accommodating our family members, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The amenities were top-notch, from the luxurious bedrooms to the well-appointed kitchen. The outdoor space was a dream—perfect for gathering for conversation and cocktails, and relaxing under the stars at the end of the day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. We are so grateful that Donna and Bill opened their home and devoted so much time to showing us around and ensuring we were well acquainted with the property. This house is EVERYTHING! Stocked & ready to host your family for a big event or just a relaxing getaway. We rented this house for our daughter's wedding at Mt Hope Farm & it was pure perfection. Donna & Bill are the kindest hosts & opened their home to us. The decor, landscaping & overall aesthetic of this home is stunning. Everywhere you look are little details that make this space comfortable & high-end. Thank you for making our celebration truly special.

An awesome house for a wedding. In-law suite was perfect to split the house. Pool was great for bridesmaids to gather. Hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Has everything you could want. Attention to details was 5 stars!

If I could give this home more than 5 start, I would! We have rented many homes and this one far surpassed any other! We booked this home for my daughter’s wedding at Blithewold (right across the street), it could not have been any more convenient. The bridesmaids stayed with us the night before the wedding and got ready on the wedding day. There is so much room for everyone!!! The house is absolutely beautiful, very clean, smells amazing and has anything and everything you would ever need! Christian was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. The owners Bill and Donna met us at the house and showed us around, they were also very helpful with the couple of questions we had. I can promise you, if you book this house, you will not be disappointed! We cannot wait to go back!

This was a charming rental with two houses combined into one large family space. There were 2 kitchens, which was great for a large family. The house was impeccable, with lots of areas to hang out in groups or to sit quietly reading. The hosts were great, welcomed us to the property, gave us tips on the area, and Donna even brought us excellent blueberry muffins from the local farmer's market. They were a great pick-me-up after a long cross-country flight. Would definitely stay again.
