Stayed May 23, 2026Stayed in Paradise for 12 nights in late May to June with my wife and 12 and 15 year old sons. Clean house, full kitchen, secure location, plenty of towels, 3 bicycles, fins and snorkels, several beach chairs, grill worked perfect, and an outdoor shower with WARM water!Views are glorious. Opening my eyes in the master bedroom every morning I was looking directly out on a surf break called Kammies, it’s the first place I ever surfed which was back in 2002. I was very happy to paddle out with my boys. Snorkled right out the back with turtles and at least 10 different species of fish swimming around the reef. Walked down Sunset beach with my wife every day and enjoyed the setting completely. Cruised the bikes down to Sharks Cove (bike path is a really a treat) and did some snorkeling. Rinsed off at the showers there at the Cove and went across the street and ate at some excellent food trucks. Boys went down to Ted’s bakery most mornings and spiked their glucose with the deliciousness that is Ted’s. We walked across the street to Lucky’s coffee shop several mornings. Foodland (grocery store about a mile or two away) had a deal on ribeyes so we seared those on the griddle on the stovetop and grilled whole oysters and doused them with Hawaiian chili water. Surf and turf while watching surfers drop into rights at Sunset. Epic days. Thank you Glen for doing it right and helping us make some lifetime memories. We truly had a wonderful time.

Stayed Mar 15, 2026The house was ok. but very humid, somewhat dated, and the furniture was not comfortable. beds were actually very very comfortable but everything else downstairs was wooden with one couch in family room that was small and smelled a bit. Very nice owner and was helpful, and to be fair we were there during the floods. Still not what we were hoping for.

Stayed Dec 23, 2025What an amazing property to stay at! Our bucket list trip of “Christmas in Hawaii” was exceptional. The property is incredibly spacious, which worked out well for our three teenagers. Perfectly situated in the north Shore, close to iconic beaches, grocery stores and shops. The ocean waves were a real-life sound machine each night. Glenn was incredibly responsive and easy to plan the trip with. We did a day at Waikīkī, Pearl Harbor, walked to the waterfall at Waimea Valley and saw an amazing performance at Tao Luau. The UTV tour at Kualoa Ranch was definitely a highlight for the family as well. Don’t hesitate on booking paradise on the beach!

Stayed Dec 16, 2025Glenn, the host, was very respondive, gave great instructions and had the house exactly like it was described. The house is in a fantastic location. All the amenities that were needed were there and everything worked. We would highly recommended it to anyone going to the North Shore.

Stayed Jun 8, 2025Amazing property right on the beach! We had a wonderful stay, neighborhood is quiet and the beach is stunning and easily accessible. The sound of the ocean and the breeze at night made it so comfortable. We didn’t need much but Glenn was always responsive to questions and gave great suggestions for food options in the area. The house had everything we needed, everyone was happy and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025This house sits right on the shore and you can hear the waves all night long! For us it was a convenient location to explore the island and be out of the Honolulu rush. There is a grocery store and several places to eat a short drive away, as well as an adequate kitchen. The pictures of the furnishings/decor are accurate and the beds and sofas are extremely comfortable. One drawback, if you have a larger group there isn't a good place for everyone to sit together comfortably aside from the dining room table (e.g. the living room only has a 3 seater sofa and two wooden arm chairs in their own area to the side). There were a few minor issues with items not working, but the owner was responsive to all communication, remedied our issues ASAP, and made sure we had a local contact as well. As noted in the description, there is no AC. With the ocean breezes this wasn't a problem during our stay; the evenings and early mornings were very pleasant although it did get a bit warm at the peak of the afternoon heat. However, it is something to keep in mind if you plan to visit during the hottest months of the year. All in all it is a beautiful and comfortable house in a great location with a top notch host! Great value and I'd love to stay here again.

Stayed Jan 19, 2025First, the view. You can’t get any better than the waves crashing right past the backyard. Simply beautiful. Beach had a sense of privacy. We could see surfers and beachgoers but our section was quiet. We were near everything. Second, the house. Big and open with fresh ocean breezes blowing in day and night. Beautiful home with a Hawaiian feel. Very clean. We definitely recommend this property and would love to return. feel

Stayed Dec 7, 2024Really enjoyed the house and location. Glenn was really good with communication and the house was comfortable and clean. There is a bike/walking path all the way down to Sharks Cove or up past Sunset Beach to keep youoff the main highway.

Stayed Oct 31, 2024It was great to be beach front at beautiful North Shore. House is very good. There are a few issues I think must be stated. Garage is small for full size SUV, as the car should stay outdoors so that the trunk could open. There is no direct beach access during big wave season. Due to erosion, I would say backyard is a place to always keep your eyes on your children. Silverware was enough for one meal. We enjoyed our stay!
