Enjoy a spectacular view of the Yaquina Bay Bridge and Lighthouse at this two-bedroom townhome, an elegant Newport property with several private balconies and easy access to nearby beaches and state parks.
This two-level townhouse is located near South Jetty, directly across Yaquina Bay from bustling downtown Newport. It's also right next door to beautiful South Beach State Park, across the bridge from Yaquina Bay State Park, and within minutes of the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Relax in comfort in the upstairs living area, where you'll find hardwood floors, plush furnishings, and windows that frame the bay, the bridge, and the lighthouse. Light the gas fireplace on cool coastal evenings, read a book or browse the free WiFi in the window seat, or play a board game with friends around the coffee table.
You'll never miss out on the action in the open kitchen, which offers granite counter space, modern appliances, and even a dishwasher for your convenience. The bar counter provides seating for two and the dining area has space for four.
Begin each morning on the private balcony, on the sand beach at the end of the jetty, or in neighboring South Beach State Park. Care to do a little fishing Anglers will have an ice chest, a fish-cleaning table, and a gas grill for their catches.
And each evening, as your clothes spin in the private washer/dryer, you can flip through the offerings on the flatscreen cable TV, watch a DVD or Blu-ray, or test your skills on the gaming system.
With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, this Newport townhouse will sleep as many as six people. The master suite has a king bed, access to a balcony, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. Downstairs, there is a guest room with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a tub.
Additional amenities include a sleeper sofa in the living room.
As one of the most beautiful stretches of the Central Oregon Coast, Newport is a place for beach-going, clamming, crabbing, and fishing on the stunning shoreline. Take an afternoon walk at Agate Beach, try your hand at kiteboarding at South Beach State Park, search for fossils at Beverly Beach State Park, or head to Nye Beach in Newport to peruse the galleries, restaurants, and shops.

liked the view and the kitchen
This town house is right on the Yaquina Bay. Great wildlife sightings and the Bridge is spectacular.
The property was close to many of the places we wanted to visit, was easy to get to, and very comfortable except for the downstairs bed, it could have been a bit more comfortable, but we prefer cushy beds.
Great place to stay in Newport Oregon. Traveled there to see family for three days. This townhouse is in a really great location. It is right by the Yaquina Bay Bridge and fronts onto the jetty channel from Newport Bay. It was fun to watch all of the wildlife move around and to see the boats coming and going. This is a two level unit with all of the main living space upstairs. The living area has a slider that opens to a balcony, so you can go out and watch the amazing sunsets. Really nice kitchen, with plenty of dishes, pans, etc. The upper bedroom is large with a nice king bed and en suite bath with a walk-in shower. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the other bath is down the hall with a tub/shower combo. We didn't use the downstairs since it was just the two of us. Would highly recommend. It is located by several fantastic restaurants and great beaches. Will be staying here again and again when we come to Newport to visit family and enjoy the Oregon coast.
The home is in the perfect location, during low tide you can see anemones and starfish just steps from the front door. The home needed a few repairs but it was fairly clean and comfortable.
FIRST THING: Your garbage cans were full, to the top. Trash day was today, I put the recycle and Trash OUT for pickup. The trash smelled nasty, NOT our garbage. The recycle had been picked up so I put that can back in the garage, the TRASH WAS STILL OUTSIDE. Someone needs to move that can back into the garage once emptied. Loved the location, the two car garage is a huge plus. Check in, easy, codes worked perfectly. Overall great stay. Many lights out, a bunch of bulbs. The little fixture over the back window, 1 out. The downstairs bathroom has a LED, an incandcent bulb and one that is broken in the socket. That is dangerous, my boy tried to touch it. The master bed frame squeeks a lot, normal use, not anything unusual. I would not sleep on it again. So a 4 star trip. With just a minimum of actual care, this property would be a 5 star rating.
Beautiful area, we had everything we needed at the place, but the dryer knob needed repair/replacement
We were very happy with our stay here! It was very relaxing and we wished that we had been able to stay longer! It was very clean upon arrival. The king bed was comfortable, with a bunch of board games in the closet. The kitchen was stocked with all sorts of items that surprised me. A crockpot, hand mixer, Pyrex mixing bowl, cast-iron skillet, the list goes on! If we had stayed longer it would have been pleasant to cook in the kitchen. We spent quite a bit of time in the window seat, and enjoyed watching the tide come and go, as well as the wildlife. All the items in the garage surprised us as well. We ended up using the crab rings, they were in good condition. We definitely plan to come back!
Pros- the view and the balcony. The essentials adequately cleaned. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location to beach and downtown Newport. Cons- An air of neglect hangs over this unit. Some ceiling lights out, reading lamps don't work, a balcony with one low chair hanging together by tied ropes ( we are not overweight and we dared not sit in it), Black marks on walls --long black scraps and scuff marks--chipped cracked soap dish in master bath, electric plates that you plug into hanging off wall in living room, and the clothes washing machine door doesn't close. We put clothes in washer and the washer was full of putrid smelling water that drenched our clothes. The door would not shut, and it had been duct taped shut in past, because the sticky from the tape was visible. I am not sure how they wash the towels, because it seems the washer hasn't worked for a long time. We had to find someplace else to do laundry. All the wooden baseboards were dirty and the doors were dirty. An overall lack of attention to detail. The license to do business was posted on refrigerator, and the license expired in 2019. Not a place if you have any mobility issues --16 unavoidable stairs to the kitchen. As far as we were concerned--not as advertised.
The view, the response to ALL the problems, the quiet
We had a pleasant stay in this spacious, well decorated and good location property. We were impressed that the owner was very generous and thoughtful about what should make the guests happy with their stays. The kitchen was filled with more appliances and cookwares than other rental houses we have been before. We were surprised to even find the binoculars for watching seabirds!
The location is perfect. Great walk to South Beach. Aquarium is very close. Bayfront Newport is just a short drive across the bridge. The view from this house is great.
This rental was a fabulous place to stay! We were able to park in the garage and keep all of our bicycles there. The cycling path was right in front of the condo and we were able to bike for miles. The incredible view of the bay & bridge, the quiet yet central location, the cleanliness of the unit, the well-stocked kitchen and wonderful layout will make this unit the place we will choose again the next time we visit Newport. We highly recommend staying here!
The condo was really clean and the view is awesome. It is a very comfy home. This condo is within walking distance to the beach and is in a very nice neighborhood.
This is a place capable of being memorable in a good way but yet a memorable place in a bad way. The pre ious renter mentioned that the washer needed to be fixed …the post has been removed and I have a screen shot…I only saw the review after I wanted to use the clothes washer the second day I was there…the door lock light comes on but it does not lock the door and the washer did not work unless I held the door shut. I contacted VACASA and only got an apology and they were working on it..NO YOU WERE NOT WORKING ON IT! FIX THE WASHER!!! If the washer is not working then take it off the features of the rental..IT IS A REQUIREMENT! I should have been advised that the washer was not available. One could clearly see that someone had tried to use tape to hole the door shut! I demand some sort of public answer and more than an apology..it is an easy fix but yet yiu continue to rent and not inform new guests that the washer is defective..no answer was received from the local operations manager when I identified the issue and left a voice mail…what does it take?
The Casa de Margarita was perfect for us! We loved it!!! It had amazing views, being right off the bay and close to the Newport Bridge. You can walk out the front door and walk out to the bay when the tide is in. And you can ride your bike or walk along the small road along the water. Very quiet and private location too. The home was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The garage had a grill and crab pot & a deep freezer. We went on a fishing tour and were able to store our fish in the deep freezer until we left to go home. The house location is close to everything, including the state park, where many of our relatives from our family reunion were staying at the campground there. We could easily bike to the campground to visit with them for reunion stuff. Loved staying at the Casa de Margarita!!!
The bridge construction was loud, and sometimes the neighbors were a bit noisy. Paper thin walls. The washer was broken. Other than that this place was absolutely great. Great views, clean, and comfortable. Close to lots of things like beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Would recommend, just be prepared for a little bit of noise.
Great view from the window seat for the bridge and bay area
This is such a great rental!! I looked to book again this summer and saw they were already booked out. The house has gorgeous views and is perfect for a night at the coast, especially with a boat at the nearby marina. Hope to be back again.
Great escape!
