Beautiful and spacious lakefront home! Close to everything!

This was our 3rd stay at this wonderful home! It truly feels like home to our family. It is decorated/furnished wonderfully and very comfortably fits a large group. Nothing more we could want! Views of the sunset over the lake are stunning.

The house was just as pictured- very clean and spacious! Great views of the sunset over the lake and lots to do for the whole family. Check-in and check out directions were very easy to follow and would definitely stay here again!

Being able to communicate with the property manager is very important when renting with VRBO. Upon arrival the entry code did not allow us to enter the property…I emailed George and he provided us with the garage code so we could unload and get settled. We are sports fans and planned to watch Big 10 conference playoff games but the Direct TV wasn’t working. This issue was remedied when the property managers son come to fix the front door entry code. He purchased a Roku stick and we were able to mirror our accounts. We appreciate the efforts put forth in taking care of these issues! The house served our purpose with ample space, well stocked kitchen and good location. Although we didn’t use the outdoors (March rental) the property would be a 10 for a summer retreat! We would consider renting again if needed!

Very nice home! Great for a weekend!

Walking in and waking up to a lake view daily was absolutely relaxing. This was the rejuvenation that we needed. The location was perfect, close to shopping and restaurants.

Host was fantastic! Directions on entry and exit was clear and concise. He was flexible with our departure time since we had a family member graduating from Navy: Highly recommend for families coming into town for Navy graduation.

This was a perfect choice for our offsite Leadership meeting. Was given lots of compliments on the find by my co workers.

This is our 2nd time visiting the house and we love it !!! Aside for struggling with the remotes, everything was perfect . We spent a lot of time by the water fishing and kayaking, grilling on the patio, and playing pool in the basement. We will be back next fall!

Stayed here with a group to celebrate a birthday and check out the Bristol Renaissance Fair - only 15 minutes away! Great location right on the lake with kayaks and paddle boats available to use. In general, we enjoyed the stay and the convenience of the location. We got great use out of the grill and fire pit.The ice machine on the fridge was broken and the fridges were not wiped out. One of the pullout mattresses had visible stains on it. 4 stars for cleanliness, 5 stars for everything else.

This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very homey feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. It's quiet and peaceful the entire stay, be it on the large deck or sitting down on the peaceful pier watching the sun set. Definitely a home to come back to.

We returned today from our stay from 8/13 to 8/17. From the point I made the reservation, the entire process was very smooth and I received prompt and clear communication. That continued up until the point we checked in and afterward! When we arrived at the house, Everything was in order and we immediately knew we were in for a great stay. The house feels comfortable from the moment you walk in and you just have that feeling that you are at home! The house very easily accommodated our group of seven adults, three children and three dogs. Everyone had plenty of space no matter where we were. We found that we were in the kitchen/dining/living room area as a group most of the time when we were in the house. The kitchen has a huge island, which allows for multiple people to be working/prepping on food at the same time while allowing for six people to sit around the island. The kitchen is also stocked with everything needed to prepare/eat meals. There is a wonderful sunroom as well. We also found that the mudroom off of the kitchen and the full size washer/dryer were all very handy. In the lower level, there is a pool table, another TV area, darts, a nice workout room and a bar. In addition, there’s an extra refrigerator on that level, which allowed us to put all of our beverages there and keep the kitchen refrigerator for food. Outdoors, there is a big backyard, beautiful views, paddle boats, kayaks, and a great deck & fire pit. Beautiful views!

The home was beautiful and right on Antioch Lake with several water toys provided.

Great place, clean, spacious, as good as advertised! Plenty of things for everyone including the water activities on the lake. Not our first time here or our last. Thanks George!

A three night stay We were comfortable and pleased with all the amenities. Fishing by the dock, kayaking and enjoying an adult beverage. A magical place to celebrate a new stage. Just one hour away but distant enough to relax the mind

Overall nice stay, the master shower didn’t work but there were 2 other bathrooms,

Hubby and I were looking for a peaceful getaway and this home didnt disappoint. Would definitely book again.

This property is beautiful!!! Very spacious and plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms are all great sizes with room for pack n plays. Beautiful view of the lake! The kitchen was very stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware and your basic cooking needs.

We had a great time at your property - - the 3 stories was great for hide-and-seek with the family. The guys did some ice fishing and the Gurnee mall is very close and the ladies enjoyed that. It was close to town with late-night car noise, but otherwise a great time.

George's house was absolutely perfect for our winter family get away. The house was spacious which gave our group plenty of room to play games, play pool or just sit around having a drink and talking. The view of the lake was beautiful.Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!! We will be back.

This was an amazing property! We kept commenting how the house was so well designed to fully appreciate the beautiful lake. It was amazing! The living room, sun room, kitchen and dining room all took advantage of fantastic views. Though in a neighborhood, we felt like it was in the country. Everything was wonderful - from the beds to the space, to the views, to the quiet setting. Couldn't have been better!

3 families stayed here comfortably (all of us has kids too). The pictures do not do this place justice! Waking up and having coffee overlooking the lake… late nights playing pool. Comfortable beds. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip and will be coming back for sure!

Beutiful house, excelent location

The biggest concern with this property is that there is a large cockroach infestation. We saw live cockroaches in the kitchen sink drains, on the countertops, cupboards, drawers, dishwasher etc. There were cockroach traps in upstairs bedrooms. I contacted owner immediately with my concerns of uncleanliness and asked if they had cockroaches. He said he was unavailable and did not comment on the cockroach infestation until we shared that we were unable to stay due to infestation and safety concerns. He then shared that he was aware a previous guest had brought in cockroaches. In addition to the cockroaches, the house had not been cleaned before we arrived. The refrigerator was very dirty, floors were sticky and had food crumbs and dirt, rugs and carpets had not been vacuumed, etc. Throughout the property there were also multiple safety concerns a few of them are: 1. The deck railing was coming apart in corners; multiple spindles were missing from railing leaving a large gap where child or dog could fall through; Multiple floor boards on stairs and deck moved when stepped on 2. Handles on patio doors in kitchen and sunroom were broken and missing the handle to open door. 3. The only smoke detector on main level was missing. It was hardwired so appeared to be intentionally removed. I would not recommend anyone stay at this property.

Property was as described, beautiful setting, spacious, great place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the outdoors.

We enjoyed being on a small, quiet lake. The house layout worked well for us - 6 adults and 6 kids ages 8, 7, 6, 4, 3 and 2 months. It was easy for the children to go into and out from the lake, which is shallow. The neighborhood was quiet, and the house is close to grocery stores. We felt the house was a good value for the price.

Great time! Kids had great time fishing from the dock. Wonderful nearby swimming beach and city pool. Perfect weather! Enjoyed our family get away!
