Beautiful 3-bedroom house with AC in Lakewood -Entire Main Floor.

The listing was not professionally cleaned: mirrors, windows, TVs, and countertops were all smeared with grease; dishes and silverware were sticky and had to be re-washed before use; the dining table was dirty and covered with a used cheap vinyl tablecloth and dirty placemats.Throughout the stay 2-3 smoke detectors beeped constantly at night. We removed the batteries when we found which ones were beeping.It’s an old house with a sloppy remodel. The main bedroom bathroom door is a “janky” pocket with minimal privacy. Shower was clean and great showerhead. Spiders and cobwebs at the front door along with someone’s shoes. Two spiders in the dining room and one on the table. Basic supplies were missing or insufficient: only a couple of coffee pods and a slimy dusty coffee pot (for pods). To be fair, there were other options but I was unable to identify what kind it was. There was no dishwasher detergent/pods at all (just some watered-down rinse agent) so I had to go buy some. Bed mattresses were covered with a fitted sheet only and a comforter. No mattress pads. The living room was comfortable. Overall it felt unclean and somewhat neglected. I believe a family was living downstairs which is good information to disclose in the listing. We’ve stayed in many homes and this was by far the dirtiest (especially the kitchen). I can’t recommend it unless the host makes serious improvements to cleaning standards and maintenance.
