Stayed Aug 22, 2025Lovely home on American Lake. We enjoyed the fabulous backyard and lake front. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and spent many hours playing in the water. We like to cook when we get together with family and this home is pretty well stocked for making big meals. Our only suggestion would be adding a couple of large pots with lids, for things like corn on the cob.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025Everyone felt right at home, especially grandmother who loved her bedroom suite on the main level. The back patio with lake view and trail to the rocky beach was stunning. Everyone got a chance to skip rocks. Thank you so much!

Stayed Jul 17, 2025I cannot say how perfect this location was for our festive family reunion! The house itself is a classic single family lakefront home, with a tasteful, modern addition. A comfortable patio under old oak trees, with a view of the lake and the mountain. Most importantly, we were gathered for my sister's 70th birthday. She's confined in a wheelchair, but because of the upgrades and attention to accessibility, my sister was very comfortable and felt safe and steady with how everything was laid out. I'm so grateful to have found this place for this special family gathering!

Stayed Jul 3, 2025Our party of six truly enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and so relaxing. Gorgeous views on the lake where we saw two bald eagles and lots of other birds. The house was spacious and comfortable. We loved all of the historical items that decorated the home.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025Our daughter got married at ESB, about 15 minutes from the house and what a perfect place for family to gather for this special occasion! The house, so unique and spacious, well stocked with dishes, books, towels, and extra cooking supplies, was the perfect place to have some meals, enjoy the outdoor and look at the glorious and majestic Mt Rainier!! For many of the family coming to the PNW for the first time, the view of the mountain was Spectacular!!! We saw several bald eagles and other birds! All from the back deck! A true NW experience! The mix of the historical home with the new living area was so charming and very homey! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely remember our time there for many years to come. Thank you and Shalom! Sharol

Stayed Jun 18, 2025We had an amazing time at this Vacasa home in Lakeview, WA while in town for a wedding at Thornwood Castle—just across the lake! The house was perfect for our group of siblings and cousins, with plenty of space to relax and celebrate. It comfortably sleeps 8, with a big kitchen that made cooking together easy and fun. The home was very well stocked—both the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Parking was great, and we appreciated the easy access to nearby stores for last-minute essentials. The setting was peaceful and full of wildlife—we saw deer, bunnies, squirrels, ducks, and even bald eagles! The firepit was a favorite spot in the evenings, and the lakefront view made the whole experience feel extra special. Highly recommend this home for families or groups looking for a scenic, comfortable, and convenient getaway.

Stayed May 29, 2025Property is in a private and quiet location with beautiful lake and mountain views. The downstairs master bedroom, family room and kitchen worked great for elderly parents with mobility issues. Three other bedrooms located upstairs. We had a minor issue that was quickly resolved by the, property management company. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return someday.

Stayed May 14, 2025I had a relaxing mini reunion with friends from high school (we graduated in 1984). The house was perfect for our gathering - -beautiful, clean, quiet, nicely furnished, well-stocked with high end bowls, plates, kitchen appliances, and in a lovely waterfront setting with views of wildlife and Mt Ranier (when it wasn’t hiding in the clouds).

Stayed Nov 21, 2024Clean home with great updates that was very accommodating for our group of 7 (three adult couples and one college student). We really enjoyed the beauty of the area. The house had absolutely everything we needed for cooking family meals. As with many old homes, the stairs are a little steep and there is a main floor bedroom for those who need to avoid stairs.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024This property is absolutely gorgeous. There are views of the lake from the upstairs, kitchen, living room, and back patio and yard. You can see Mount Rainier rising up beyond the tree line across the lake. The yard is giant and the patio goes the length of the house. There’s a huge lawn with paths going down to the lake. The backyard is shaded with trees, which kept it a perfect temperature. The kitchen had about everything. we really didn’t use the living room as the outside was so beautiful. There are French doors all along the backside of the house for easy access wherever you are. We really appreciated the wheelchair accessibility. The ramp in the front of the house made it easy to get my elderly mother in the house. The downstairs bedroom had easy access to a bathroom with handles in the shower and by the toilet. It also had a little sitting area with a bed so I could sleep near her and keep an eye on her. When we had a problem with the Wi-Fi they sent someone else to fix it and didn’t give up and tell was taken care of. Great service. There is not a dock, but there are places to moor your boat on the lake. we were surprised at the small amount of lake traffic boats on the lake even during a warm sunny weekend. We loved it so much and really wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Stayed Jul 1, 2024The listing does not do this place justice. The views of Ranier over the lake are stunning. My kids loved splashing in the lake on the little private rocky waterfront. I will dream of this house!

Stayed May 29, 2024We recently stayed at this property while we were in town for a family funeral. The house and property were beautiful. I appreciated the ramp in the front, it was very helpful for my elderly mom and aunt, plus rolling up our luggage to the front door. The large main bedroom and bath are on the main level which accommodated the three not able to do stairs. The three bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and accommodated the other five in our party. The upstairs bathroom was large and worked well for us. The half bath by the main living area worked great for easy access when we were in that part of the house. The kitchen is well stocked and we found the built in cabinet separating the kitchen and dining room table to be very cleverly built. You can access dishes from both sides and had everything we needed including coasters, large coffee mugs and so much more! The view outside was so beautiful! Most of the time the sky was clear enough to see Mt Rainier…what a sight to see. We had some local family stop by for visits and they loved walking down the path to the lake and took beautiful pictures. Will definitely stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay. We absolutely loved it!!
