Stayed Jul 27, 2025Great place to stay near Rainier NP! The house is clean, comfortable, with plenty of room for a group (we were just 3). To clarify the bedroom set up: one bedroom has a queen bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed plus a full/twin bunk. Two full bathrooms. Huge, new laundry machines. Well equipped kitchen.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025This place was great. Not too far from things we wanted to do but quiet enough to relax after our exploring adventures.

Stayed Nov 9, 2024We had a great time. Suzanne was very responsive and acommodating to our needs. The house is very cozy and there is a lot of thought that went to our dog to be happy ( being able to safely play outside, dog treats, clear instructions of expectations about picking up after your dog and sheets to cover furniture) and kids to be happy, loved the train tracks and lincoln logs we spent hours playing like we hadn't played in years! We also enjoyed the hottub and the well stocked kitchen. Definitely will stay at the bears den in our next Mt. Rainier adventure.

Stayed Aug 23, 2024The Bear's Den is an amazing place to stay. The Nisqually River is a short walk and is absolutely stunning. Our hosts, Troy and Suzanne were fantastic. When we arrived, the house was clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Huge thank you to Troy and Suzanne for sharing this beautiful place with us!
