Beachwalk Resort | Sleeps 20 | Golf Cart

The location was excellent for kids....right next to the playground. Having access to the golf cart for driving back and forth to the beach was a huge plus! Beach toys, chairs and a wagon were present which was nice for transport. The house is older but mostly well maintained. The roof deck is not accessible, despite pictures showing it online. However, this was not a huge deal for our group. We had plenty of space and the starter kit of toilet paper, soap, etc....was more than enough for our stay. Overall, a great place to stay with plenty of room and great amenities. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling with multiple families, especially with smaller children.

This is our second stay at Lemon Drop and we came back based on the size/sleeping options and great location near the park for our kids. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived with no complaints from that front.The only negatives I did want to mention:1. We were delayed in checking because maintenance was coming but they never came and it only delayed our check in.2. The master is advertised with a queen bed but it's actually a full. We had hoped they'd rectified this, but unfortunately they have not.3. A window blind was broken for the duration of our stay and no one ever came to fix itOverall the house could use a little love with some updating, painting, etc. but it comes at a great price and offers so much space for large families.

Reviewer Comments: Despite what I'm about to say, this house was great for a multitude of families to stay in and I'd probably do it again. That said, things just kept breaking. When we arrived, we discovered that the rooftop porch was blocked off and unusable, which they never told us in advance. We were really looking forward to that so it was a huge disappointment for which we were not compensated. As the week progressed, some blinds broke, the oven door broke, the faucet in the kitchen was worn out... you could tell this rental has seen better days. That said, it was great for having tons of kids in one place. Liked that it was right next to the playground and the golf cart was handy. But the stuff breaking and especially the blocked off roof with lack of communication left a bad taste in my mouth.

Loved the area!

Lemon Drop is an awesome house, in a great area by the park within the amazing Beach Walk resort. Everything from the beach, to the pool to the park obviously, was extremely accessible. We loved Lake Kai being close and took advantages of the activities available. We had a huge crew with ages ranging from 10 months to 65, and the space was perfectly sized and situated for our needs. I have two small issues I would definitely want future guests to be aware of. The upper balcony looks awesome, and is advertised, but is not accessible and was locked with a padlock. I'm sure the view is gorgeous, so we were disappointed we didn't have access. The master suite is said to be a queen bed, but it'd definitely a full, so plan accordingly. Lastly, the upper floor was a little warm in the evening in relation to the main level or basement. None of these things would prevent us from recommending the property, just aspects to expect. This property worked perfectly for our family weekend getaway. We had 20 people ranging from 4 to 64 years old, and there was something for everyone. We went to the beach, pool, tennis courts, rented gear on the lake, shopped at the outlet mall, and went to the zoo. There was plenty of room for everyone. There were two things to note....There was not a bedroom on the main floor, which might be an issue for people with mobility issues. The heating/cooling was not well balanced. The upstairs rooms were quite warm and the bottom rooms were freezing. Looking forward to returning!
