Beachwalk Resort Retreat w/Pool, Lake, Beach Access

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our rental but found the floors to be dirty at arrival. We wear bare feet or socks rather than shoes inside. Our feet and socks were black with dirt. Overall the house was not as clean as we would hope. Otherwise we found the rental acceptable and would consider returning.

Reviewer Comments: Enjoy our 2nd stay at this large home which has plenty of space for multiple families.We love the location as it's close to everything but has privacy & it's quieter than other areas. We also love the bedroom & bath layout with multiple floors and several gathering spaces! We don't mind the stairs between levels but it is something to consider. It was great to see some improvement ( new decking!) but it is started to show its age. Place is clean but kitchen is disorganized, making it difficult to find things ( perhaps cleaning crew should be putting things in order after each set of guests). Spacious deck is fantastic but screened in porch is difficult to enjoy with lack of lighting & it's not as well maintained as other spaces.

Everything was great and so convenient to the beach and amenities. We enjoyed breakfasts at Farmette in New Buffalo, MI; it is a farm store, pastry shop and great coffee bar. Also, Oink’s for ice cream in New Buffalo, Fluid Coffee Shop in Michigan City, and the antique market for vintage shopping. We spent most of our time on the gorgeous beach and swimming in Lake Michigan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were visiting the area for a family wedding nearby. Ultra Violet had plenty of room for the entire family, including small children. Great location between Kai Lake which has many amenities, beach, pool, snack shop and kayaking...and Lake Michigan's beautiful beach. Both were only a few blocks walk. The property had some cleaning issues upon our arrival, but a phone call to the help desk and both housekeeping and maintenance were on location within minutes. The outdoor deck areas are dated and in need of some repair. The interior of the property was mostly updated and in good repair.

The house was perfect for our family! Outdoor deck and fire pit was fantastic! Very comfortable we enjoyed this gem and the Beachwalk resort! Very quaint area!

They were lots of extra rooms and five bedrooms so our large party had plenty of space to spread out. We were also fairly close to the beach path so that was easy with the kids. They’re also lots of beach chairs, and the beach mat for the lake.

Best location 2 blocks from beach access yet close to clubhouse & pool. Away from main traffic areas & hillside position provides privacy. Having large decks, fire pit & screened in porch means you can enjoy any weather. Very well equipped & bedroom layout that's ideal for adults who don't want to share bathrooms or sleep in bunk bed!
