Beachwalk 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk on Jekyll Island. The place was comfy, very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils and cooking materials. Enjoyed the nightlights in the bathrooms as well. This was our first stay in a VRBO property and we were disappointed that the kitchen did not supply such basic things as dishtowels and cleaner so that we could clean the sink, counters, etc. The sunroom was great as a place to stash beach chairs, etc. but it was musty smelling so not that usable in the summer weather. It was great to have a washer and dryer but some laundry detergent would have been helpful. Also, the closest beach access from our place had a lot of stairs and a hole in the sand at the bottom which made it tricky for the senior in our group, so we always went up the street near the Holiday Inn to access the beach, especially at high tide. We loved all the bike paths as well. Jekyll Island was amazing, not super crowded and we will definitely come back and stay here again.

We had stayed at this house a couple years ago, and felt at home. House is clean and well organized. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. Nice big refrigerator with ice and water on the door. Big sunroom with compfortable seating and big table for your group to gather around to eat or play games. We will be back!

So close to the beach and the other houses our family rented. The only thing wrong with one of the rooms was the master bedroom door wouldn’t close all the way and we had our baby in that room so it was slightly inconvenient. I’m sure the realtors would’ve come to fix it but we just put a shoe behind the door and the hallway door was closed so no sound would interfere. A wonderful place to stay! Worth the money every time :)

We had a great time with our family of 6 (kids 9-17yo). The furniture and beds were comfy and it was really clean. House is a quick walk (4ish houses down) on a quiet neighborhood street. The beach is beautifully lined with a rock wall and greenery instead of houses. Oversized washer was a big convenience. The Jekyll room was big enough to host friends on a rainy day. As an added bonus- Lots of deer were spotted!

House exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable. Good location! We would stay there again. Thank you for allowing us to use your house!

The cottage was perfect for our family! We enjoy the location, as it was a quick walk or bike ride to everything! The screened-in porch/ patio was so nice to have with the additional space it gave us. The only issue, was that when it rained, the carpets in this porch/patio became very wet and musty. Jekyll Realty came out quickly to take care of the water. Overall, we had a great week!

Photos and description in listing were accurate - no surprises. The place was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped. Warm, cozy, private and secluded - we saw deer in the yard every evening. Large Jekyll room was very bright and airy and had a really nice sofa. Very short walk to beach access on Barron Lane. Would stay here again in a minute!

The cottage was beautiful, well appointed and nicely maintained. One block easy walk to the beach. Large, open sunroom. There were an abundance of flora and large oak trees surrounding the home. Deer were seen daily from the sunroom and could see dolphins at sunrise from the beach. Highly recommend!
