Beachside Living: Family Retreat in Galveston

Needs black out curtains in the rooms. Rooms are facing street so light sleepers will hear traffic. Very good value, beautiful view, very good communication.

We were concerned about condition of floor and didn’t think it was safe. Numerous soft spots that sank when stepped on. The wood that had been placed over two areas and covered with rugs were a tripping hazard. We have rented this house 4-5 times and were disappointed to see the floor in this shape. Also the microwave has rusted out interior. Location is perfect, house was clean.

We loved our stay. We had a great time except 4 of us ended up getting a stomach bug so that wasn’t fun. The house was very comfortable. The only complaint we had was there were lots of roaches. Host was great and answered me immediately. We will return.

Great home, very easy walk to the beach! We traveled with 2 small kids and they had the best time. Beautiful views and easy check in/out process!

This was an absolutely amazing stay and experience. I will definitely be back to stay here. The owner was very responsive to messages and got things fixed ASAP as needed. Great quiet location. 10/10 recommend.

House was clean, location was great. The flooring did have spots that were uneven underneath that were tripping hazards. I did LOVE that there were no small or fragile decorations below waist high! This sounds like no big deal.. but we have 5 little kids (7y-5m) so this was such a relief! Very kid friendly.

This house was perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 under 10.) There was plenty of space, the house was very clean, and it’s located right on the beach. We will definitely rent this property again, and would recommend it to others.

The house was nice. Excellent location & easy to find. Easy to get to the water from the house. Owners were really nice. Would gladly stay there again.

Excellent property. The view and access to the beach was great! The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable.

This house was perfect for me and my three teens. We had plenty of room to relax and watch the soothing waves. There is a path directly to the beach and we loved walking morning and evening. Great place to spend a weekend or a week.

Can’t say enough about the fantastic view! The Gulf Of America right outside our door!However, the amenities were few. Our advise is bring your own dish soap to toilet paper and everything in between. The beds are subpar..could use new mattresses. You will also need to have the Black Flag nearby… lots of roaches. Additionally, would have been nice to have a real master bedroom… they use it as a kids bunk room..

Property is beautiful and located perfectly. Everything was clean and easy to get to. Host responded quickly to any questions we had and provided any information we may have needed. A few draw backs, floor needs updating, Several spots you felt like you would step through. Please be aware we ran across a we rattlesnake hiding in the grass towards the beach.

This was a perfect rental in the perfect location. Exceeded our expectations -gorgeous views and great beach access.

This was our third time staying here and we will continue to come back. Excellent beach location, very clean and there is absolutely nothing lacking in the well-equipped kitchen. It is exactly as described. You will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and the short distance to the beach was fantastic! The stay was very relaxing and the kids loved the beach area as it was quiet and fairly private. We’d stay here again.

There were floor soft spots all over the house. We we're worried about falling through. bug damage? Water damage? Other than that, the house was perfect.

Gorgeous views! Arrived late at night and woke up to an amazing view of the gulf. Right on the beach with no obstruction. Absolutely loved it. Property was really nice, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. Just about a 30 second walk, if that. The 3rd bedroom has several bed for plenty of guest. Great location close to a small grocery store, coffee shop, pizza place as other small stores. The upstairs is unusable, as it’s a sitting area only, could possibly be used as a blow up mattress. Take a baby gate with you if you plan to have little children as the stairs are centrally located and of course the main attraction to littles! Everything worked great!
