Beachside Cabana l Heated Pool l Walk to Beach

We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this property. The hosts were very responsive and attentive, quickly replying to messages and even sending someone to check the fire pit and clean the pool. Despite the previous guest checking out late, the hosts and cleaners had the home ready within about 30 minutes of our scheduled check-in, and it was mostly spotless. This was for my sister’s milestone birthday, and the home was perfect for our celebration.The heated pool was fantastic, especially with the colder-than-usual January weather. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plateware, and we loved the wine fridge. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and there was ample driveway parking for four cars. The location was ideal, just a short two-block walk to the beach. We also appreciated the extras like racquets, balls, camping chairs, and a beach wagon. We would love to return during warmer weather to enjoy more of the outdoor amenities. Overall, it was a wonderful and highly recommended!

Our recent stay in St. Augustine was the best yet! The house was incredibly cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing. The pool was a refreshing treat, and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, making us feel right at home. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return!

I recommend this home. Needs some updates and attention to minor things but it worked for a family ages 3 months to 55 years. Communication from owners was great and the price was reasonable. Neighborhood is quiet and simple. Home was clean. The walk to the beach was about a 1/2 block and crossing the main highway but easily crossed. We utilized every bed and room as we had several children. Kitchen is stocked with basic needs for cooking and eating. Beach items such as chairs, sand toys, umbrella and wagon were available. Coffee pots are old style and not Keurigs. Lower level is microwave and mini fridge. Parking is tight with 4 cars but totally doable. Nothing against the owner but do note that the lower home is loud ? you can hear everything going on upstairs as far as footsteps, chairs etc. and since you sleep right below the dining room it’s very noticeable. The lower level area is a giant room with a bed and couch which makes a bed but the couch needs replaced. We couldn’t sit on it nor sleep on the pull out but we used our air mattress instead. The older people stayed in lower level and maybe we are just too old. The sliding door on lower level was almost impossible to open and close and we could never figure out how to keep the fans going but lights off during sleep. Used a fan they had in the closet. Overall it was great and worked for a large group. Older kids enjoyed the air hokey table. 5 minutes from grocery store

Our over-all stay was very good. The home fit our family needs exceptionally well as we took advantage of both the closeness to the historic area of St. Augustine and the short 2 block walk to the beach. The house itself needs some repair and up-dating but was adequate for our needs. Pics on VRBO site need to be updated to show both inside and outside of house as it is presently. My only problem was with communication with the host. We had some problems in the house that needed attention and I had no way to timely get in touch with the host. One phone call to an if problems number got me a I will call you back with no call back. We had some questions about the property prior to our check in, but could not get any info from host other than boiler plate emails. I got the feeling that the host has not been in the home for some time. The size and location of the home will continue to make it a desirable venue for future VRBO consumers, but a little kindly attention would help to make future reviews more positive.

We had a great time in Vilano Beach. It was a short walk to the beach. We had 9 people and we had plenty of room.

We had such a great time during our stay. The house was perfect for our family! It has everything you could need. Having the separate apartment was great for the grandparents so they could have a little space of their own. The area is nice and the beach is a short walk. Andrea & Danny were always super quick to respond if we had any questions. We hope to come back soon!

This house was the perfect beach getaway!! I booked this to take my 70+ year old mom, her sister and 2 other family members. We each had our own bed. The house was clean and very beachy. The beds surprisingly comfy! The hosts were very communicative and responded quickly tp questions. We brought our own groceries and coffee for the traditional coffee pot. There is an apartment downstairs with a game room and beach supplies. We loved having breakfast on the upstairs deck every morning. ? The best part was walking to the beach and watching the sunrosw each day. Many other neighbors did the same. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and quaint. Its about. 5 min drive to St Augustine so we had dinner there each night. I would definitely book this house again! Im already planning my next trip. ☺️

Spacious clean home in a quiet neighborhood, two blocks from beach, easily accommodated our party of nine and two 40lb pups. Our stay was very enjoyable the location is great for people looking to avoid large crowded beaches. The family really enjoyed crabbing in the bay, fishing for pompano from the shore and the waves are just big enough for some good boogie boarding, not to mention our pups enjoyed their own style of crabbing during our nightly beach walks. There isn’t much on the island where the home is located and things close early so I’d recommend early dinners and stocking up the fridge. All in all a very nice place to spend the week.

Great house for large family gathering. Plenty of separate space for kids and adults. Easy walk to beach and beachside park.
