Stayed Nov 15, 2025Had an wonderful stay at Villa Verde with our family of 2 adults and 2 teens! We were there for a week, and it was the perfect launching point for all of our adventures! Vanessa, the property manager, was very helpful with any problems we encountered and with suggestions and information. We used the kayaks and floats to go out to the reef, got to see some lovely sunsets on the pier, and enjoyed the use of the community pool. One of the highlights was our daily walk along the beach to Udo's Deli at Lawson Rock. Once we tried it, we went back every day! It was so convenient, welcoming, and always delicious! Overall, we loved it here and highly recommend! I would not hesitate to book again for our next trip to Roatan!

Stayed Aug 16, 2025We had an excellent stay at Villa Verde in August 2025. Two families (4 adults and 2 teenagers) visiting Roatan for the first time for a diving vacation. We found the villa to be as advertised, and communication with the local property manager (Vanessa) was excellent and responsive. The air conditioning (mini-splits in the living room, and all 3 bedrooms) were modern and functioned well. The high-speed internet through Starlink was excellent. We enjoyed being situated in a quieter part of the island (vs staying in West End or West Bay). We did not rent a car, but we were connected with a great local driver through West End Divers (our dive shop), and the travel cost/time to the dive shop and grocery store was very reasonable and easy to book.We had a great diving vacation in Roatan, and Villa Verde was perfect for our needs.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Everything we needed. Easy to find, communicative property manager, well stocked (towels, kitchen, games, water gear.) Dock was perfect, neighborhood is quiet, house is secure. There are business cards of boat captains on the counter - we struck a deal with Capt Joel, he picked us up from the dock and we had a great day snorkeling! We also used the day passes to Mayan Princess which was a nice place to hang out for the day with kids/teens.

Stayed May 31, 2025The house was a great size, plenty of room for a family of 5. The beds and pillows were comfortable (and I am picky!). I thought it was better than the pictures showed! Access to the Mayan Princess for a day was really fun and then we got to return to the quiet neighborhood in Sandy Bay. Some of our best snorkeling was from the dock of the house, it’s a bit of a swim but our 8 year old did it with a life jacket.

Stayed Apr 10, 2025Immaculate, well stocked oceanfront property with convenience to the airport, West End, and Sandy Bay. Sunscreen, bug repellent, pantry staples, beach toys, laundry detergent, and kayaks were among the surprise amenities greeting us. Vanessa was very responsive to the few questions we had. It was a very quiet area and the beach was quite private. The convenience to the deli with lattes a 5-10 minute walk down the beach made our stay even more pleasant. We could have been comfortable in the three bedrooms, but it felt quite luxurious to rent out both the top and bottom spaces. We look forward to returning for our next stay at Roatan!

Stayed Aug 11, 2024Spacious home with all we needed for a great stay. The location on the beach is perfect. Deck & screen porch with beautiful views & gas grill (useful in power outage). Plenty of room for 7 adults. Beds were comfortable. The entire house is up a flight of stairs from the garage if mobility is an issue. The living room was generous w/plenty of couch space. The beach extras were nice especially the 2 kayaks which were great for snorkeling at the reef (some of us paddled and some swam - we could switch if someone wanted a break.) There were floaties, snorkel safety floats, life jackets, and a random assortment of snorkel gear. The garage was a great spot to drop all of our beach gear and put towels/swimsuits in the laundry. Well appointed kitchen w/air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, baking sheets, pots and pans, spices/olive oil, etc. We paid for 5 gallon jugs of water ($1.25 each) which Vanessa supplied. Vanessa (prop host) was great with communication and came over during power outage to deliver flash lights and batteries. Reef and Pier - our favorite spot. It was like a private dock, rare to have anyone else out there. The shady spot to read in between time in the water was great! Some of our favorite snorkeling on the entire island was just out to the right from our pier. Blue Island Diving - just steps down the beach. They were great! Be sure to have Miss Deborah cook for you. We had baleadas one night (enough left for lunch) and enchiladas another. So delicious!
