House Highlights

Second level:
Enter the home to find a spacious main level featuring a bright and airy living area, an open kitchen with high-end appliances, and dining space. The stunning deck offers a panoramic view of the Gulf and includes plenty of seating and a grill for guest enjoyment. The custom bunk room, complete with built-in bunks for six (2 twin over queen bunks), provides a cozy space for the little ones. The second bedroom on the main floor features a queen bed with a full bath with a walk-in shower right outside the room.

Third level:
The third level features 3 bedrooms. The master suite offers a large king bed and en-suite bathroom with a separate tub and walk-in shower. This bedroom also offers access to the beautiful deck overlooking the Gulf with a comfy bed swing. Two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed, are separated by a shared full bath, featuring a combination tub/shower. The queen bedroom has access to the exterior deck overlooking the beautiful neighborhood.

Cupola:
Up another flight of stairs to the cupola/office, where a queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping arrangements, ideal for accommodating extra guests or providing a dedicated workspace with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Ground level:
On the ground level, you'll find a large bar area, perfect for entertaining or unwinding after a day at the beach. Our guests are also able to enjoy the expansive yard, where beach toys, umbrellas, and chairs are provided for guest use.

Unique features:
One of the unique features of Sunrise on the Beach is its unbeatable location – nestled directly on the beachfront while still being close to all of the island's main attractions, restaurants, and historic downtown. With two beautiful decks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, you'll have the perfect space to soak in the sun, sea, and sky.

HOUSE RULES
• Must be 30 years old or older to book the property. All reservations are subject to a signed Short-term Rental Agreement. The guests must review, sign, and return the rental agreement along with a copy of a valid ID within 48 hours of the booking.
• No loud large gatherings (no spring break groups, parties, or prom celebrations, no youth groups without adult supervision).
• No more than 16 people including kids, infants, and day-time visitors in the house at all times.
• Our house is not child-proofed (no locks on cabinet doors, no outlet plug covers, there are knives in the kitchen drawers, etc.). Parents will be responsible for walking through the house and identifying hazards to their children.
• No smoking (the rule includes: no smoking inside, on the balconies, no e-cigarettes), no drugs, no drug paraphernalia, and no underage drinking.
• We allow up to two pets per stay, with a fee of $50 per pet. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in the neighborhood and on the beach. They may not be left unattended inside the house. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in the yard and throughout the property.
• Driveway parking only. Our driveway can accommodate 4-5 mid-sized vehicles. No street parking (strict HOA rule). Garage is limited to owner use only. We do have designated overflow onsite parking within 2 minutes of walking time.

NOTE
Our property features multiple levels with stairs. The ground level consists of a garage area, which is not accessible to guests. The living room and bedrooms are located on the second and third floors respectively. Guests must be prepared to use the stairs.

SAFETY DEVICES
We have a Ring Doorbell camera overlooking our driveway. The camera will be on during your stay. The camera is only used for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house.

    The host was okay, the amenities wasnt so accommodating. We didn't have access to the garage for parking. The patio furniture was filthy and full of stains. One bedroom didn't have a TV, the smoke detector chirped the entire stay, the toilet had some sort of leak so we had to go inside of the tank to stop the water from running, there was a limited amount of towels, etc. Not to mention we felt unsafe because the patio door wouldn't lock. I did address these issues with the host prior to our departure.

    The house was exactly as described! Very clean, comfortable and had amazing views! We had 14 people and all slept very comfortably! Definitely would recommend!

    Beautiful, clean and modern property with room for the whole family to spread out. Sunrise was gorgeous and evening were shaded- the views and breeze on the deck were amazing. Great fenced in backyard for our dog, and beach access was just a 2 minute walk. The host even provided a wagon, beach chairs and toys. Close to town for the fun art walk on Saturday too. We will be back!

    This house was absolutely beautiful and very, very clean. It was right on the beach and had enough space for 11 adults to sleep and mingle. I would love to go to Galveston again, and if I do, I will stay here again. I encourage anyone to stay here. Anna was absolutely terrific on getting back to me within the day on anything I asked about. She provided us with restaurant names and things to do while we were there. Stay here, it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The location of the rental was very good — right on the beach with an easy access walkover. However, we found the property to be significantly more dated than what was shown on the photos on VRBO. There was rust on the interior and exterior surfaces of the home, paint was chipping in numerous spots, the furniture sagged and was uncomfortable, and the sheets and towels did have staining. All of which we didn’t expect at this price point. Overall, it was an average stay, but could use some updating throughout the home.

    Great stay, very comfortable- loved being closer to The Strand and all the shops and restaurants (we usually stay on the west end). The beach was very nice! The view of the beach from inside of the house was even amazing… especially the pink sky at sunset. Never had to contact the host during or stay but was very accommodating before and after- responded very quickly. We’d stay again!

    We stay on Galveston Island almost every summer. This was the first time we were able to stay on this side of the island. Normally it would take us at least half an hour to get to shops/restaurants. We loved the house & really enjoyed the location. I would highly recommend this property!
