Stayed Feb 3, 2026One of the cutest places we’ve stayed. It has a cool, boho and mellow vibe. It’s like a woodland vintage cabin. It’s so cozy and moody with the wood clad living room, fireplace, and super comfy couches. The kitchen is left vintage, cute, and sufficient. We cooked every day. It was stocked with everything we needed, including the coffee filters lol. An amazing record collection and sound system. Let’s see what else. The bathrooms are so 60s retro but they were good. Soft towels, very comfy beds, and heaters in each room were perfect. But the true highlight of our stay was the view of the ocean from every west facing window of the house. You can’t help but stop and take it all in. The view of the big rocks was breathtaking. The adorable short little foresty path going to the beach below, it zigzags in an easy going elevation. However, it wasn’t easy enough for my 80 year old mother to attempt. Speaking of, the house is not street level so you have to walk down 10ish steps down to the front entry and again, mom struggled just a bit. Also, guests should know that the the beaches are lined with a narrow border of beautiful black stones. So walking through and over the short depth of this required some concentration and balance. And you have to pay attention to the tides, but they provide a tides schedule to follow. Sitting out on the deck was spectacular. All in all, it was a little bit of heaven and now we all want to move to Netarts lol.

Stayed Oct 4, 2025The VRBO listing was accurate in that this is an older campy home. However, it failed to mention the stairs from the street to the entrance, which I found problematic. I was also unable to navigate the path to the sand. However, the kitchen was well equipped, and we loved having a real fireplace, which we used every day. The location was great, but we weren't aware it only had on street parking...The camp style of the home was just what we wanted. We had bald eagles fly by a few times and watching the seals, herons, and huge flock of pelicans was amazing.I reccomend this home, but with the caveat to be aware of the stairs, and also if you are a larger person like me, consider bringing your own camp chair for comfort. The home was clean, and very well equipped. we had a wonderful time.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025Best Stay Ever!We loved everything about this place. It saw a cozy 2 bedroom house, super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood felt super safe and walkout to the bay was an added bonus. We accidentally locked ourselves out and had to call Pat/Kate on a Sunday evening. They were super nice/compassionate and helped us out immediately. Hope to come back for a stay again someday!

Stayed Jul 13, 2025What a hidden treasure! The location was incredible! We love how the property is outside of the touristy area and in a quiet, off the beaten path area. This allowed us to slow down the pace of our trip, take in a warm cup of coffee by the fire, enjoy many walks on a beach with very few people, listen to the sounds of the waves, and enjoy cocktails overlooking the sunset. There's a path down to the beach full of plants and a natural setting, reminding us to enjoy the journey. I love how the owners kept the Brady Bunch era decor, rather than making many updates. The older look felt comforting, and added the warmth that made us feel like the beach house had been in our family for generations. Everything was comfortable, convenient, and easy. The kitchen provided much more than any VRBO I've ever visited, with spices, oil, plastic wrap and foil, mixer, 2 cast iron skillets, waffle maker, plenty of dish soap and towels. There was more than enough firewood, kindling, and newspaper to enjoy a crackling fireplace to sit and read each night, and restarAll in all, this was completely the opposite of a cold, impersonal, hotel-like experience. It was comforting, relaxing, and felt like a giant hug on the ocean. Don't pass this one up!

Stayed Jun 25, 2025If you’re looking for someplace down to earth for the beach experience this is definitely the place for you. This is the second year that I brought my family to stay here and I have no complaints. It’s ideal for a family to stay and play. I am so glad that I introduced my grandchildren and great grandchildren to the Netart community. I just wish I had discovered it before I reached the age that I have. This was probably my last visit because it’s getting hard for me but what a visit it was. Paddle boarding, swimming, kite flying, you name it! What a perfect place.

Stayed Sep 10, 2024Enjoyed the location and the cabin. Enjoyed our stay in Netarts. For the next renters: check the weekdays restaurants availability and be prepared to drive away unless you bring food with you. The bedsheets could have been changed providing a better experience to the fellow renters. It's hard to smell someone else's body odor in your bed!

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Netarts and this beach house made for a perfect beach vacation. The kiddos loved playing on the beach just steps from the house. This part of the Oregon coast is tucked away and not busy like some of the larger tourist towns on the coast, even during peak summer seasons. The house has an amazing view and Tillamook grocers make it easy to stock the kitchen. The only thing it lacked was a functional grill but the pluses definitely outweighed this one negative. Pat has definitely earned a hearty 5 stars and we will most likely be back in the future. larger tourist

Stayed Jun 4, 2024I loved this older house. It has character and warmth. You could walk from the deck directly down to the beach, and it was so quiet! You could look directly out from the bed, couch or table to see the ocean. Definitely a place to read?

Stayed Jul 25, 2024There is nothing about this house that I disliked. Located ideally and so private although there are houses on both sides. There are a lot of stairs to get to the beach which could be a problem for some people but for my family it just added to the beauty. We watched seals and an abundancy of seabirds and there was always something beautiful outside the window. I hope I can return someday.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024Loved everything about this place from the wooden gate and fence to the old school charm and vintage decor and the easy walk to the beach. We did bonfires and roasted marshmallows until tides came up and put the fire out. Kids found sand dollars and met several nice folks walking along the shore.

Stayed Jul 4, 2024Great vacation spot. The towns were super busy over 4th of July weekend but thats to be expected. Charming little beach house on Netarts bay. Very cool vintage vibe at this house. Nothing fancy, just comfortable & cozy...perfect. Great view of the ocean, good acess to the beach. Kids had a blast looking for shells and crabs etc. Sunsets meant for postcards. Thank you Pat & Kate.

Stayed Jun 24, 2024Besides the spectacular views, the location of this property was perfect for our family vacation as it was a 2-minute walk to the beach, easy walking distance to the Schnooner restaurant, and easy driving to Tillamook, Oceanside, Garibaldi and Rockport Beach (places we explored). The home was clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with more items than usual from kitchen to bathroom to beach toys and clamming supplies. Overall we would highly recommend this property with its rustic charm.
