The beaches were beautiful but quiet, and the house offered the perfect location to rest and enjoy the quiet. The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the beach. I would highly recommend it to anyone vacationing near the Indiana Dunes.

Lots of room so that everyone could be together on the main floor and yet have privacy or alone time in the bedroom spaces. We played several family games and card games, sometimes 3 different ones going on at the same time, in the common area. 3 showers were helpful, as well as the rinse off shower outside! Very clean, very well stocked, nice balcony areas, and just steps from the beach! We are in our 70s, and our children and their spouses (40s), and our grandchildren ( 11 and 14), all had a wonderful time together! Great memories!

The size of the home and its layout were perfect for our family, providing plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The location cannot be beat—so convenient and truly at the heart of everything. At its core, the home is lovely and very comfortable, making it a great choice for a family getaway.A few notes for future renters (and perhaps suggestions for the owners): while the kitchen is stocked with cookware, items like cooking oil, non-stick spray, and aluminum foil are not provided. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but helpful to know when planning meals.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The house was beautiful and the location to the beach and awesome Lake Michigan was excellent. We enjoyed spectacular beach days and wonderful evenings in the open common space of the house, while also enjoying views of The Lake from the balconies. Small hiccup with the air cond unit leaking on main floor throughout our stay. Fortunately the a/c was working, but we did have a constant leak into a plastic bin that required watching and emptying. The management was responsive to our needs (hair dryer, coffee pot), but was not able to get A/C unit repaired. Otherwise, the house was perfect in every way.

We were a bit disappointed with the lack of shower gel/soap, shampoo, conditioner and number of towels. For this price other rentals, specifically in Florida on the beach, have had that included. Did seem a bit pricey for the distance to the beach and the lack of a water view. The main living space and master were gorgeous and provided ample seating for our party of 11. The room for the kids was great too. The other two bedrooms which we used for adults were a bit cramped. The one in the basement was small and the one on the top floor the bed was pushed up against a slanted ceiling. The a/c system worked great and there are a ton of windows to open. Wish there was more outdoor seating or a firepit to accommodate our group in one space.

Wide open space for gathering, well-stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and even a good selection of TV channels, especially Disney for little ones. Access to Lake Michigan was important and perfect. We all enjoyed it very much.
