And you cannot beat the direct beach access. The home was well kept, and the management company and owners were easy to contact and made it a point to check in a couple times during our stay. There was nothing about the house that we didn’t love and we will 100% be booking it again.

This is an excellent location and nicely updated and spacious kitchen and living and dining. Perfect for our growing family! Spacious bedrooms and balcony and right on the beach! It needs a better, more thorough cleaning, but I think the management will see to it getting cleaned as it should be.

Home was not clean. Needs a few upgrades ( handles, faucets, baseboards...ect.) and a lot of cleaning. Outside was under 4-6 of water when we arrived, water blocked entrance to front. Grills were dirty and falling apart, old beach gear and trash was left under patio in walkway ( it was all old, rusted and trash). Trash was in sand along side of property. ... The good was the room of property and location and view of the beach.

We had stayed on the east side of the house a few years ago and loved it and the west side was just as perfect. Just a few short steps to the beach and the covered porch was an amazing place to listen and watch the waves morning night. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

My family had a very relaxing week at this prPros:-I have never had a manager check in on us as much as this property. Communication was excellent and prompt. Gail was so sweet and I felt like if anything went wrong, she would take care of it. Thank you!-location is literally steps from the beach and beautiful!- the open concept floor plan on the first floor is great for a family to hang out and be together in. - it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas Cons:- you can defiantly tell this property has been “well loved”. It needs a deep clean and some cosmetic updates. A few places had mold (upstairs bathrooms and closet) - no beach chairs or umbrellas are provided, so you need to bring your own and carry them back and forth to the house each day.- the upstairs ran hot and you are asked to not cut the air lower than 72 degrees.

We also enjoyed having a pool nearby. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. My only complaint was the cleanliness. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Overall our trip was great.

⸻We stayed at Silver Dunes West and while the condo itself was in a great location and had a good layout, our experience was impacted by ongoing AC issues. When we arrived, the main AC unit wasn’t working, and the repair techs told us it had already been serviced 4–5 times this season. It wasn’t fully replaced until Tuesday, which meant we spent the first few days of our vacation in 80–90 degree heat. Especially with my elderly parents with usIt was stressful We were provided with fans and a window unit when we asked, which helped a bit, but it was still uncomfortable—especially when it came to cooking meals we had planned for Sunday through Tuesday. The AC crew was in the condo all day Tuesday for the replacement, which also made that day less relaxing.The upstairs unit continued to struggle throughout the week to keep the temperature even at 75, so we hope that doesn’t become a future issue.We reached out to management and they were kind and responsive. They offered us a 330 credit, which we appreciated, but given the level of inconvenience, we felt at least full-day refund would have been more appropriate.Despite the setbacks, we made the best of our week. Hopefully the new AC unit will mean a better experience for future guest

It was in the perfect spot to just walk right out to the beach or sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were even able to request a replacement coffee pot that was brought to us within 30 minutes! The July 4 fireworks were spectacular!!

We had a wonderful vacation at Silver Dunes. Very nice house in a great location. We had a couple of hiccups while we were there, but the management company immediately addressed them - they were absolutely wonderful.

On the beach with easy access from AL180. Last minute booking because of cancellation of Florida trip due to hurricane Helene.

Location Location Location. This property is located on the beach sunrise and sunset are the best. The house is in need of a deep clean and update. The dust under the sofas and the stains on the doors needs to be addressed. The property needs to be updated. The bathrooms are dated and the toilet on the main floor was running when we got there the owners were quick to come fix it but afterwards it was hard to flush. I really enjoyed the property but not the premier property normally offered by VRBO.
