Beachfront- 'House of Dreams' - Memories of a Life Time!

This is a very poorly maintained property. No hot showers in 2 of the 3 bathrooms. Shower floor in one upstairs bathroom is hard rock which can cut your feet. All toilets had flushing issues and we had to plunge them constantly. Had to call property manager twice on air conditioning. No dishwasher soap or washing machine soap. We had to request soap for the bathrooms. Only one roll of paper towels for 10 days. Only 3 beach towels for a unit of this size. Beach chairs were in poor condition and no beach umbrella for the beach. Screen door to back door off tracks. Lock to back door constantly stuck. Stained blanket in master bedroom. The property is very poorly cleaned and it showed. The owner told me she is selling the property and the property manager Jorge asked me if I would mind if they showed the house to a possible buyer during my stay. The unit looked dated and worn out, not Mexican Charm. All these issues were discussed with the property manager and owner. I also met a guest at an adjacent house in this complex who had stayed there and he too said he did not like this unit and would not stay there again. I would never go back here and the only reason it gets two stars is because it is in a perfect location. The outdoor grounds are very nice, but this unit is really dated and incredibly overpriced. The owner had very limited photos of the inside of the house on the listing. This is property has with a no cancellation policy which now makes sense. AVOID THIS LISTING!!

We had a wonderful week at the house with our two adult daughters and their boyfriends. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and there is lots of room to be together. We loved being right infront of the beach and pool. I recommend this house!

The house is beautiful and feels like a home. The bedrooms are specious and each has its own bathroom. Everything you could need was provided and there was a very handy binder with instructions for everything. The house is located in a nice area with many restaurants a short walk away. The pool was great and never crowded and the beach is right out the back gate. Close enough to everything to be convenient, but we still had the privacy and security of a small gated community. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful. Some maintenance has been neglected. The new property manager (Jorge) and his team are working diligently to rectify the neglect. Very responsive

Beginning with our inquiry, the owners, Tom and Carol, were quick to reply to all questions and helpful in making suggestions. Upon arriving we were met by Filipe, the house manager, who took us through the house, explaining how everything worked and ensuring we had his contact info if we had any problems or questions. He checked on us regularly and had suggestions and connections to help us create experiences we would never have found on our own. The house was charming and comfortable with everything we needed including a washer and dryer; the pool kept sparkling clean but without a strong chlorine odor; the beach easily accessible from the pool area and beautiful to view with morning coffee or afternoon cocktails from the upstairs balcony. We were close to many of our favorite restaurants and shops, and a short walk to Chedraui for groceries not available at the small neighborhood market. Due to the Corona virus our family wasn’t able to join us and we had to cut our stay short, but we plan to go back next year and make those family memories! Thank you Tom and Carol!

We have stayed in this complex before and find it fantastic. Our first time at Casa de Suenos. Clean and comfortable. Close walking distance to many great restaurants as well as the beach and pool. Thank you for an enjoyable time!

Great property, had a wonderful vacation

The house is fully equipped for any of your needs for either a couple or a family. Morning coffee on the downstairs patio, overlooking the pool. is a perfect way to start your day. It is only a short walk to the village along the beach and there are numerous restaurants all within walking distance from the house. Don't miss the Bucerias sunset from the upstairs patio. We will be back.

We spent a month at the Casa de Suenos and fell in love. It is an amazing property - perfect location at the south end of town, right on the beach, convenient to everything in Bucerias and taxis only a few blocks away for day trips. The kitchen is fully equipped - blender, coffee pot, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, storage containers, stove top and oven worked great; full size fridge. There is a nice collection of spices and staples. Lots of extras: beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, books, TV, strong WiFi. The pictures are all accurate. The upstairs balcony was great for dolphin and whale-watching! Felipe came by almost every day to check and see if we needed anything. The shared outdoor area was kept immaculate, pool cleaned daily. Carol was very prompt in answering any questions via email. All 3 bedrooms were very comfortable - ceiling fans plus A/C (that we didn't need in the winter). We had no problems at all and are planning to return for another month!
