House was great but a few things could use improvement. There was only one hand towel across 4 bathrooms, and while we found a different coffee pot stashed in a closet, the one on the counter was a 4-cup pot! This for a house that was for 9 people. Our biggest problem tho, was a really bright outdoor security motion light on the neighbors house that shone directly into one of the bedrooms of our house, going off and on all night long. We eventually covered the window in foil, but we shouldn’t have had to do anything. It was a bad situation. Other than those issues, we really liked the house. It was a good space for 3 separate families. Beach view was good, and outdoor seating was comfortable. Parking was ok considering we had 3 cars.

We could have used a pizza pan, pizza cutter, bowls, 9x13” dish, Tupperware for leftovers, etc. We liked the two fridges and the house was laid out nicely. Water temp and pressure were very good. We seemed to have quite a few bugs. There was also a strobe type light that flashed off and on into the rooms on the east side of the house.

Beautiful house and great views

Beautiful house and location. House is very well equipped and the view is spectacular. One note - There is no kayak or canoe as description indicates.

We stayed at the Grand Lanai, not the property listed here but it was about a mile east of it. It was truly a dream. the house was amazing, the beach perfect. We happened to be there right after the rains (we arrived 1 day after a brown water advisory was lifted for Oahu), but most of the time the water was clear and swimable. The beach abutted Wailupe beach and it was absolutely perfect for our 6 kids to frolic in (with beach shoes). I took my 6 year old 100 yards in the ocean and it remained quite shallow and you could see a lot of fish. We saw a puffer Fish , several tangs, and we even had a 600 lb monk seal sun himself on the shore one day. If are really expecting to swim or surf, the Wailupe beach area may not be right for you. it was amazing to reef walk and explore the animals, but the waves break probably 1/2 mile off shore and it didn't get more than 3 feet deep until 300 yards at least off shore. You would need to go far out or pick a different beach to surf from.

The house is in a good location, the beach access was very nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub, which worked well. The house was also very roomy and gave our group of nine plenty of space.However, there were several issues during our stay. The outlets in the primary bedroom did not work, several of the fans provided in the house were broken, and the TV remotes had low batteries and often would not work. Since it rained the entire time we were there, we spent more time inside than planned, so the TV issues were especially frustrating.The house also seemed understocked for a group of our size. There were no washcloths anywhere in the house, very limited bath towels, and very few kitchen towels. In addition, one of the tiles in the sunroom actually fell off while we were staying there, which was concerning and made us feel the property could use better maintenance. We also bought food to bake during our stay, but the oven was not functioning properly and would not allow us to cook it.Overall, the location, beach access, hot tub, and spacious layout were definite positives, but given the maintenance issues and lack of basic supplies, we did not feel the house was a good value for the price.

Great spot right on the beach, close to lots of great hikes and swimming. Was perfect for our family spring break.

It was great. Big enough for 10 people comfortably. Right on the beach. Everything we needed for the house was included. We had an awesome time.

The house is on the beach which was perfect for the little ones, and the location away from Waikiki made it more of a quiet retreat. It is located on a main road, but that wasn't a problem for us. The house itself has been partially updated and is fine, but wouldn't be considered super luxurious. It has a large living room that allowed everyone to gather for meals and evening chats. Overall I would recommend the house for groups our size wanting a well located house.

Wonderful beach house. My family of 10 stayed her for a week and it was perfect for us. Location and view can’t be beat. I would absolutely stay again if we all come back to the island. No complaints at all.

This house was perfect for our family of 8. Beautiful, plenty of towels, & linen. Very roomy and clean. A/C worked very well. Beach just steps away, enjoyed coffee & the sunrise. Enjoyed the hot tub. Beach has some seaweed but still great. Very relaxing. Drive 20-25 minutes East and spend time in beautiful beaches, less crowds. We would stay here again!

They had a wonderful experience and loved the home and proximity to the beach.

We absolutely loved the view of the back ocean with wide windows across the living room. We had sufficient rooms to house all 14 of us young and old. The green yard was perfect space for our kids to run around and play, the grandparents enjoyed the spa and also the kids. The only thing to raise issue on was the driveway and the size of it was tight. We had two vans and that was all it would fit. The entry and exit from the driveway took getting use to. We learned you can see the stoplight on the other side of the street in in the mirror and used that to help us determine when to safely exit.

Great property and accommodations.

We had 10 of us staying at the house. The house is amazing and very accommodating. It is so nice to be able to walk out the back yard to the ocean. You are right off a main road but we did not notice the traffic as we were either in the house or relaxing in the back yard.

The house had plenty of space for 12 of us. The beach was shallow water but lots of rocks, coral, etc so have water shoes and not the easiest for kids to play in the sand. Quite a bit of road noise but the location was easy to get to all the key places we wanted to visit on the island.

There was ample room for all of us. The location was great. The large patio was wonderful for all to gather in. Children could play on the beach and in the large yard.

The only tricky piece was parking because we had a large SUV. It was a tucked away paradise!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this house. It is perfectly located and being right on the water, we have enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on the beach a few steps from our backyard.We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay on O'ahu and made even better by this property. I read the reviews and was nervous about the beach part but it wasn't what they said. The beach is lovely, granted its not deep enough for swimming but it is fine for snorkeling, seeing wildlife, tons of turtles, and especially paddleboarding (we brought our own). The only critique i have is the kitchen walls could use a good wash down or be repainted. The hot tub was unusable, with water that looked like it hadent been chainged in forever. Plus the jets didnt work. Other that that we loved this house!

Overall we loved the house. It offered a lot of space for our extended family with beach access for the young adults and great shaded spaces for grandmothers to hang out and read. They did not provide shower gel/shampoo, which was a bit of a difficulty, but we went and bought some. The kitchen worked fine, but trying to heat up several items for Thanksgiving in an oven with only one rack was a challenge. They were quick to respond to any issues or questions that we had. We had to learn how to best enter and exit onto the busy highway, and there was some traffic noise, but overall not too bothersome.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to Waikiki. It was windy during our stay so we were not able to paddle board like I had hoped. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

Clean house, wonderful beachfront, superb water location (shallow & safe for newbies, more challenges if you wanted them, sweet neighbor. We had 12 people and no room/bath conflicts. All negative reviews are by people used to having an others do for them apparently. We were very comfortable!

We had 9 adults in our party and we really enjoyed our week long stay. There was plenty of room and the location was great. The beach out the backdoor was never crowded and the water did have some rocks so reef shoes are a necessity until you venture a little further from the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and towels for everyone. Costco, Safeway and Foodland grocery stores were all within a 15 minute drive so we utilized the 2 refrigerators. There were some things that need attention. When we arrived at 4pm the a/c was off in the house and the temperature read 87 which was a little uncomfortable for a few hours until the a/c was able to cool the house down. I suggest that the a/c unit be turned on a few hours before the guests arrive in order for this not to be an issue. One of the bedrooms does not have central a/c and only a window unit. This bedroom was an add on room which is not insulated well and the temperature was always at least 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable even with a box fan being utilized. This bedroom's bathroom also had a lot of mold in the shower due to a lack of air flow and ventilation. We bought some Tilex which removed some of the mold. Mold was also present in the window a/c units vents. A tile was loose in another bathroom and the stove's door handle came off while attempting to use the stove. Property management had someone fix these issues. The house needs a good deep cleaning.

We experienced a wonderful stay at this property. It was as advertised. All the imenities were there. Access was great to all the things to see and do. All questions were answered quickly and accurately. Thank you!

We (9 adults, 4 kids) enjoyed our stay at the house. It was spacious enough for all of us to not feel crowded, and it was nice to have the little beach just outside. The property management needs improvement, especially for the price. * When we arrived half an hour after check-in time, there were still cars in the driveway and the house was still being cleaned. We had to call to ask them when it would be available for us to check in. * The garbage/recycling should be taken out after each guest stays, rather than just relying on the weekly schedule. This meant that we had full trash and recycle cans on our arrival, and the next guest that stays will also have full cans. * Hot Tub was full of sand when we arrived, and was finally cleaned a couple days later. However, there was no chlorine or other cleaner to add in, so it didn't feel very hygienic (a small amount should be added after each use, and when it was cleaned it was only vacuumed, not chemicals added). It also needs a new cover, as that one is about ready to rip in half. * The property itself needs maintenance. Several doors could use new handles, the AC condensate trap needs to be emptied, as you can see that it has a problem with leaking. The furniture could use a good cleaning. A few of the bathrooms were a less clean than desirable upon arrival. * Need a safety strip on floor leading to 2 kings, child immediately fell from the unseen step down on arrival. Overall lovely house but needs better mgmt for the price.
