Beachfront home with outdoor shower, 2 decks, central AC, & W/D - dogs ok

The property was excellent, clean and quiet. Quick access to beach with great views from both decks. We had a couple minor household issues upon arrival and vacasa took care of them quickly, in the same day. Thanks to Chris Bolt for taking care of the electrical issues we had.

The house was great. Very disappointed in the amount of ants in the house and outside of the house. My husband had to spend his money to buy chemicals to spray inside and out. The manager said they were sending a professional to spray, but no one showed up and said they did. Ants also got into our vehicles.

Great location. The only issue was the ants. But, they’re performing dune work in the area, so all the ant colonies were shaken up. That’s what the

Great location and the house is comfortable, the beach is a short walk. The ANTS are a daily struggle. We had to put everything in plastic.

Location was perfect. Amenities were good. Everything was comfortable. Ants were a big problem. They were everywhere and in everything. Other than that, a few things in need of repair, but the location again was excellent. Walk right out into the beach. Not very crowded nearby.

This was the perfect house for our family to unplug and unwind from the busyness of life. Beach toys were onsite. Minus 1 star only because there was no grill on site. There’s nothing better than grilling at the beach.

Fantastic house in a great location if you are looking for a non-commercial, non-tourist'y' area. Very enjoyable with great beach access and property location.

I have to say that we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and the view was perfect. There were no ants or any bug for that matter. I am disabled and going down on the beach was very easy for me, minus the steps. I would love to stay here again, but the pricing has gone up and I won’t be able to afford it. The only thing that the house needs is a new set of pots and pans. Don’t pass this place up, you will lose be your stay.

Being with family

Nice house with wonderful views. Could use some maintenance. Window blind in bunk room was broken. Dryer vent was clogged. Oven did not heat properly. Only 1/2 of toaster worked. The sliding doors on the beach side did not lock well and leaked when it stormed. And some of the slats on the deck are loose. The queen size beds felt more like double beds. Even though, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again. Loved the location and lots of space.

My son in-law had his truck invaded by a colony of ants while parked there. They spent a hour trying to clean them out. Put food and luggage in the back of truck to hopefully keep them out of that. Spent 2 hours at home removing and killing ants. Not a good way to end a vacation. Rented this house last year and had an ant problem. Thought we would give it this year to see if they had fixed the ant problem. Nope did not. Ants in silverware drawer, ants in my dog’s food, ants in the beds, ants just about everywhere. If you don’t mind sharing your space with ants this is the house for you.

We had a good time even with all the things wrong with the house ie. poor housekeeping, could not use the keypad for entry-it did not work so had to leave another door unlocked for the week. Scary. An ice machine that went bonkers off and on day and night. Plus an ant invasion inside and out.

Like the property overall but terrible ant problem, all through the house including the beds!

Location great. Beach nice. Cleanliness of the house not so great.

Location was great and very pet friendly on the beach. However dealing with ants in the house was not fun!

This is the perfect location for family and family pets! Very good location with great ocean front views!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property. The accessibility to the beach with pets and older parents was nice.

We enjoyed the property very much. The view of the ocean from the deck was amazing.

This home had everything we needed for a great vacation. Plenty of space and amenities with direct beach access. Not far from Sneads Ferry if you were to need supplies. Pier is within viewing and walking distance, public park and ice cream within 1.5 miles. Yes there were ants outside but as long as we kept things cleaned up, they remained outside and away from the vehicles. Totally worth it...we would rent again. Vacasa made it easy for us every step of the way.
