Beachfront Home on Gulf of Mexico w/ Indoor Pool

Perfect, home away from home. Our host Lora was wonderful. She even ordered from Amazon a coffee grinder because we only had wholer beans. our favorite VRBO ever; we will be coming back next year and cannot wait. Home away from home everything we needed and more. The outdoor spa was our favorite. Just steps from the beach so you could hear the waves. spectacular sunsets. Loved all the decor, very eclectic and the design and decor/art was our style! Extremely clean.

The host was great, but the property was in serious need of updating and repairs. We were unable to use the pool because the water was 60 with no heat option. The home had a very strong odor.

Exceptional value, outstanding views. Great location on a private beach. Close to amenities, restaurants, shopping if you want to leave the beach. Convenience of two kitchens an indoor cold plunge pool and beautiful sunsets.Not your every day, decor, funky, and eclectic. Knowing this house survived the hurricanes last year, it was a pleasure to stay in.Owner and manager very responsive and excellent communication!

Really liked the house and the locations. The artwork is unique and neat throughout the house.

It was mostly fine. House is more than a little funky. Great location, but the house layout makes you go hmmm several times. The most obvious is the internal stairway that forces you to walk through the upstairs bedroom to get to any other room on the top floor. Then, there's the downstairs sink, shower, and toilet all separated by a walk through hallway to the two lower level bedrooms. Finally, the two kitchens seem completely redundant. Outdoor fire ring was enjoyable as was the outdoor shower grotto. I wouldn't pay half the cost for this house if it was in any other location. Being right on the beach has to be at the top of your list of amenities for this property to be considered. Just to be fair, we used this property as three couples. The funky layout of the house would be much less of an issue for a single family with a couple of kids.

Overall we loved our stay! House is a bit funky, but the reason to stay here is the BEACHProperty manager was great, super responsive

The Best part of this stay was definitely the location just steps from the beach. The property is surrounded by lush green vegetation - just a wonderful tropical retreat. There are several things that would keep us from coming back. First of all is that the TV, internet, and no electronics that needed Wifi or direct TV worked consistently enough to watch even an ad. Also, the ventilation in the downstairs basement is non-existent. The pool cleaners put bleach in the indoor pool on Thursday evening and the Lower level bedrooms are non-sleepable due to the fumes even with all the doors closed. The beds should all be replaced, they were either way to soft and saggy or way too lumpy. Every night, I worried about where we would sleep due to all poor bed mattresses. The upstairs bedroom has no privacy as there are no doors between the bedroom and the living room except for a curtain. Also, the bedroom is a passthrough access to the lower level. We were checking this place out for future family vacays, but unfortunately we won't be back. If these things were addressed, we definitely love the location and would like to stay here again.

Nice house cold pool

Fantastic, private property right on the Gulf. Such a unique and fun home. Having stayed at several properties on the north side of Manasota Key, this was worthy of a repeat stay. Despite being adjacent to Manasota Key Beach, which tends to get very busy in the summer, this info was part of the listing and all things considering, it wasn't all that bad on the northern/residence side of the beach. Definitely worth a relaxing wak through the lush vegitation on the property! is

My husband, 2 college aged children and I stayed at this home in June 2024. We chose it because it’s right on the beach and it’s also a 8 minute drive to where my parent’s live in Venice. We wanted a family vacation near my parents so we could spend time with them. The views from the upper level of the home are amazing and we loved hanging out on the upper deck. There were plenty of beach chairs provided and we enjoyed taking long walks on the beach and we collected lots of shells and shark teeth. There was plenty of room for all of us. There are two bedrooms and one full bath downstairs and one bedroom and one full and one half bath upstairs. The upstairs bedroom does not have a door. Rather, it is a curtain that separates the room. The layout and decor is funky but it worked for us. The property is large, tropical and private. It was great to disconnect and spend family time together. One note, the wi-fi is very spotty, cell phone coverage was also a bit spotty and we could not get the TV’s to work. But, we were okay with that. The contact person was very quick to respond with any questions we had. I would stay here again.
