BEACHFRONT!!! GREAT location!!!

Amazing location!! Directly on the beach with incredible ocean views from all levels of the house. Great location close to dining and shopping as well. House was exactly as described, nothing fancy but with a location like that who really spends much time indoors! Incredibly comfy beds and great, cold air conditioning on both levels. Really enjoyed our stay!!

You can't get any closer to the ocean than this! Great location and easy to get to plenty of attractions, shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our week. I will mention, you have to walk over a tall dune to get to the beach, so this might not be for anyone that has trouble walking, but definitely perfect for a younger family. The house could use a little love but overall, it was clean, (I did wash the front kitchen window so the view was clear but bathrooms were super clean!), AC worked great and perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed evenings on the deck and the hot tub. We will definitely rent again!

Loved the location, the view was amazing and the house was perfect.

The beach access and view were amazing. There were some issues with the property, which I am sure were from overall wear and tear over time, but could have been corrected before being rented out. The upper bathroom had several issues, including the door not latching and the sink drain being broken, but these were worked around by my family. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip, however I would definitely verify that there are no issues before reserving any properties.

I wish I could give this property a negative star evaluation. Our trip began by showing up and having another family already residing in the home on our arrival after a 9 Hour drive. I saw their phones and they were also provided with the door access codes and all of the check-in information in exactly the same format I had been. Me and my three young children spent 2 hours out in the cold beach at night in November. The owner and property manager were unreachable by both family’s phones. VRBO helped us realize that the other family had booked for the following year. At this point, the home was full of dirty towels, dirty dishes, rearranged furniture, unmade, beds, and even some of their clothes still remained in the home. All three of my children contracted an infection from their hot tub that took a week and a half to resolve with prescription steroids. The day of the arrival, we were unable to purchase groceries because the stores were closed by the time this was sorted and it was the day before Thanksgiving so our food supply was very limited for the first 2 days. The owner and property manager remained unreachable throughout the six days. Rather than own up to her mistakes, she is now charging my family for fictitious damages to her home. I urge anyone considering to stay here to choose a different home. I travel often and this is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had! These are photos of how we left the place.

Very clean home, on the beach, with beautiful views of the ocean. Easy access to restaurants and stores, but away from the busy main island road.

We came in town for a wedding. This was a nice place to get away and relax. Loved the beach views from the kitchen table and couch. Home was very clean and everything was as described. We were able to see the sunrise 3 mornings which was beautiful. We would definitely come back!

The home was very clean and literally steps from the ocean. We had a family wedding in a nearby town and decided to stay a few extra days at the beach. Beautiful views from the deck to enjoy your morning coffee! Hot tub was very clean as well.

Our group was women in their 60's having a girls trip. The location was perfect. We arrived at the tail end of hurricane Erin and although we couldn't swim, we still had a wonderful time. The upper deck is perfect for sunrise watching and coffee with whip cream. We took a morning to see the wild horses. It was a great time. I highly recommend this place. Clean, roomie enough for our group and the owners were easy to communicate with and helpful in deciding conditions due to the hurricane. We can't determine the weather but Joanna made it possible to determine if it was safe. Had a wonderful time!!

The house was extremely neat, clean, and organized. It is in a beautiful location with the most amazing sunrises. We stayed with two young children and found it very accommodating to their needs as well.

We had a wonderful few days at this property! It was just as listed and is in a great location directly on the beach. Just a short walk up over the dune each morning to the ocean. The morning view from the decks is amazing. Evenings in the hot tub are the perfect way to end the day. We hope to visit again next summer.

The property was exactly as described, clean and steps away from the beach. It was the perfect location for families. We had a wonderful stay!

This house is the perfect size for about 6 people. The bedrooms are comfortable and there are 3 showers (including the outdoor shower which is in great shape). The house was immaculately clean. We lost wifi at one point and the property manager promptly called us back to help restore it.The kitchen is well-stocked. You will find everything you need. It is a PLUS to have linens and beach towels included. Most especially, the view is AMAZING!This is our 23 year staying in Kitty Hawk, but our first at this house and we would definitely come back!Please note: there are dunes that you must climb to get to the ocean, but that is the case all through OBX in order to preserve the beach. Also, about 4 beach chairs are provided. You will need to bring more if you have 6 guests and you might want to bring an umbrella since it get can too hot on the beach some days.

Absolutely perfect location right on the beach. Wake up and gaze at the ocean from your bedroom. Have a cup of coffee on the deck and enjoy the ocean view. A climb over the dune and you're on the beach. The house has all a small family would need with a well-equipped kitchen, multiple smart TVs, Wi-Fi, Hot Tub, and Picnic Table. Comfortable beds, included linens and towels made for an easy stay. House was clean and outside road noise was minimal. We would absolutely love to stay again!

Great weather and very nice house

This property was better than the description! Beautiful house on the beach that has breathtaking views. Nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee, on a spacious deck, as a pod of wild dolphins swim by. Property manager was very kind and answered any and all questions promptly.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Sunrise Paradise. The name suits it well. The house was clean and met our needs. I usually prepare a few meals at home and found that some of the kitchen supplies (pans, etc) need to be updated. It was a relaxing vacation and the proximity to the ocean was exactly what we were looking for.

We came down to celebrate Mother's Day and had a relaxing trip. The balconies and beach access were perfect for enjoying the sun, and we could get to multiple restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes. Very clean, spacious and the hot tub was a great bonus! Thank you!

The house and location were exactly what we needed for our quick trip to the Outer Banks. While the cottage isn’t fancy, it was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is great! We throughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

The home and location are fantastic. The house isn't perfect cosmetically but I have yet to find one in OBX that is. It had everything we needed except for one thing (keurig coffee maker). Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived. The a/c on the first floor wasn't working properly but someone had already been called, arrived promptly, were very friendly and got it taken care of quickly.The location was perfect. The beach was just over the dune with easy access. Every place we wanted to go was within a 15 minute drive. The hot tub was great and all contact with the host was very speedy and courteous.I would definitely consider renting this home again. Our family had a great time!

Pictures don’t do this house justice. It’s bigger than it looks. Everything was clean and neat. Brand new fridge and stove. Wi-Fi was simple to hook up but who cares anyway? You are right there…smack dab on a sandy beach. Get off your phone and enjoy the decks and ocean.You have to climb a small dune to get to the beach. But, the house is literally on the beach.Daily dolphin sightings.Beautiful sunrises. Located close to shops and restaurants.You can’t beat the price.Definitely coming back!
