The Place is AMAZING

John is wonderful to work with. Gave us information on restaurants, events, and even kept us up to date in sketchy weather approaching. Turned out, the weather was excellent. Home is inviting, comfortable, artistically enhanced with even some of the owners’ artwork. Location couldn’t be better.

Has a WONDERFUL stay! The furniture and beds were so comfy! Great stocked kitchen. Nice big rooms. Decorated just like the pictures showed. Our host was excellent! Brought the family and pups. Awesome location.

The home was as appeared in photos. It was clean, great location and plenty of space for our group. Owner was very responsive. We had a fabulous vacation and plan to rent the home again in the future.

Wonderful time!!

The home was perfect for our needs. 6 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The location is so close to the ocean that you can roll out of bed, go down the back steps and step into the water at high tide. All the amenities worked and the house was not too fancy but really nice and comfortable. Pet friendly was the icing on the cake. The owner communicated by email on multiple occasions during the week which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this property.

This house was applauded by every one in our party. Even if nothing in the house was right the closest to the beach location wins! But the house is also great with comfortable beds, furniture, and location! The owner is very responsive and very easy to work with. We will stay here again and again!

I’ve been to Edisto a hand full of times but never beach front!! I could not have picked a better house for my family! The grandchildren had a blast on the beach and both sons and their wives loved it too. The property manager was amazing and answered any questions I had. Want to make this an annual event

This home location was wonderful. Walking distance to town with groceries, shops, and restaurants. Beachfront location and no crowds made it feel like we had our own beach. Homeowner was very responsive to all communication.

Great access to waterfront property and all the shops. The bike rental was done with ease. It was very easy to get in and out of.

John the host was so accommodating. It was a great beachfront home near shopping and restaurants. The sunrises were spectacular and listening to the waves at night put you right to sleep. We loved our stay! Everything was exactly as advertised in the pictures and description. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had. He also texted things to do while we were there, which was appreciated. The view is spectacular and we loved hearing the ocean right outside. If you get the chance to stay here, do it. You will not regret it. The one and only negative was not being able to get a golf cart due to location, but since it’s near a lot of things like grocery store, ice cream, and a few restaurants, it was fine. Will bring or rent bicycles next time.

Very well-appointed property. It had everything we could need. Both the owner and property manager couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting some restful time at the beach.

The check-in process was simple, there were many kitchen amenities, lots of coffee pods. The partially fenced in yard was nice to have an added barrier between our dog and the road. The hammock was a relaxing element. The shaded sitting area under the house was appreciated during the peak heat of the day. Having waterhoses at each side of the house made it easily to keep sand off of us. There was ample beach area even in high tide (which some Edisto homes have issues with). We would gladly stay here again with a larger group, this trip was only myself, husband and our dog.

The High Tide is now our favorite beach house at Edisto! Wonderful family vacation memories with our first granddaughter were made at the High Tide! The home and its amenities are “Top Shelf”! Thank you!

It is as advertised and more!

This place is perfect for the entire family! So close you are literally on the beach sitting on the back deck. You never leave the beach, its always steps away. As a family it was nice sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and then again at night watching the sunset as a family!! What a memory that will.last a lifetime! Everyone loved not having to pack snack and drinks. Just steps away in the house. Also under the house was a favorite place. Late nighht hot tub after long day at the beach once the littles.one went to bed. Need i say more. I could, but bettet yet experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed.
