Beach vacation house (AL 904)

Close location to the beach and ample street parking

Enjoyed every aspect of this rental from the cleanliness, location, space and accessibility to area amenities. The host was very accessible and communicated very quickly. It was able to accommodate a family of five comfortably. Having the washer and full usable kitchen made it very efficient in maintaining the needs of a busy family. The only negative was the size of the bathroom and drainage issues we had with the shower. It required constant maintenance which wasn’t the biggest issue as we were able to work around it. Would rent this unit again.

Would definitely stay here again. Very nice place with a deck viewing the ocean. Owner was easy to reach and very friendly in showing us around the place. Was a good spot from which to drive out to many beautiful vistas around the island and the thermal pools (Caldeira Velha) though driving is a bit challenging on the narrow winding roads climbing mountains.

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights - the home has a lovely view of the beach from the private balcony. Our beds were comfortable and the whole home is bright and cheery, and well located. I would stay again, and would recommend to others.

Was perfect. We loved the place. We were with 2 kids and it was great because the house was very well equipped. Excellent terrace with sea view and the location is really nice (you cross the street and you’re at the beach, several restaurants walking distance, cool neighbourhood)

The island is amazing! This rental is fine. The host was great and the location is good for exploring the island. Parking on the street next to this rental was never an issue for us. Nice to have a patio looking at the beach but it could use some upgrades like nicer furniture and a shade/rain cover. Kitchen was good but had some oddities like the only two frying pans did not work on the induction burners. The main negatives for us were the unbearable humidity in the bedrooms and the bathroom. I really have nothing good to say about the bathroom. The shower pan fills up with water quickly so you stand in dirty water, the toilet is 1 inch from the wall and very awkward to use, the lighting is awful and I had to duck to get in and out to avoid hitting my head. Again, the place is fine but I'd gladly pay double for some needed upgrades.

We loved the location and felt very comfortable during our stay! The listing as accurate and had all the amenities needed. Our only complaint would be the musty smell, which granted, this is beach rental - so some mustiness is to be expected.

The apartment was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the view from the deck. We walked into Ponta delgada but really to see the island a car is required.

I stayed at this property for 4 days with both my kids aged 7 & 9. All i can say is wow! This house is fantastic! 2 large bedrooms, great kitchen, and fantastic location! Would definitely stay here again and would most certainly recommend to others!

This house was perfect for what we needed. A place to stay while we toured around the island by car each day We stayed for 6 days. The view from the patio is gorgeous. The house is equipped very well with everything you need. There is a double bed in one bedroom and then a narrow single in the other. The living room also has a couch you can make up into a single or small double bed.

Great and modern appartment with a great view on the beach!
