Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts
We will let the photos do the talking, but note that this home has some especially attractive features for large groups, such as bedrooms that allow for privacy due to access by 3 separate staircases. The newer kitchen has two refrigerators, two high efficiency washer/dryer units, and plenty of storage. Dining area has two tables that seat up to 16 people. There are a number of flat screen TV throughout the house. Mattresses and pillows are all protected with hypoallergenic liners. There is both private parking in back of the house for up to 3 cars, as well as on-street parking.
With all that is new, there are still many historic touches that have been restored -- sliding panel doors with the original hardware in the living room, stained and leaded glass windows, and a funky 'Nantucket Bedroom' that is great for kids.
Outside you will find a large stone patio with gas grill and plenty of seating, along with access to the outdoor shower. Additionally, there is a shaded farmers porch, which is perfect for lazy Vineyard afternoons. Cross the street and you have access to tennis/basketball courts (we supply high quality tennis rackets and basketballs) and a playground. Take a few more steps and you are on Circuit Ave, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and nightlife. As for the beach and harbor (including ferry boats to the mainland), they are just a few scenic blocks away.
This home is professionally cleaned and maintained year-round, and the owner has been renting out homes on the Vineyard for over 22 years. Feel free to inquire about the two bedroom Edgartown home and the four bedroom Oak Bluffs home. vrbo numbers 43322 and 59668.

Location is perfect to walk in any direction for entertainment, food, shopping and beach. 10 family members from four different states came together for a reunion in our favorite destination of Martha’s Vineyard. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative but the space of this home was perfect as we waited our the rain without climbing all over each other. Clean, comfortable and enough rooms to spread out. Loved the outdoor shower. Grateful for the double washers and dryers. Kitchen was convenient and stocked well with items we needed and the dining room allowed all of us to eat together. Short walking distance to the grocery store for supplies. Sufficient amount of linens and towels. Was able to walk from the ferry and bus stop. Highly recommend this house for larger groups.
Enjoyed the stay very much.
We walked everywhere and didn’t need the car we had. Plenty of space and the porch is divine
We had a great time staying here. Every year we bring together two other families together on the Vineyard and this year the consensus was that the location of this home can’t be beat. It worked well for our families (small kids) and Joseph was informative and responsive to all our questions. We had a great week at this beautiful home.
Terrific location for families with playground across the street and short walk to Flying Horses, Nancy’s, ice cream, etc. Ample onsite parking. Loved the dual outdoor showers and convenient double washers and dryers. Joe was super responsive. Will be back!
Would rent again
Our favorite house
Couldn’t be anymore accommodating clean and roomy Friendly environment
Our family absolutely loved this home!!! There was plenty of space to hang out in a private abode and regroup together as needed. There was ample parking for our 3 cars and the home lacked nothing inside. The fact that we were walking distance to Circuit Ave and Inkwell enhanced our experience greatly. Having a playground and courts across the street was a must have for our little ones. And Joe was incredibly responsive, answering our most mundane questions. Overall I highly recommend this stay, and we would gladly bring our family back next season.
I stayed at this property with my family at the end of June. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk right onto Circuit Ave, close to the bike path, and right across from a park that the kids really enjoyed. The house is large and can fit lots of people. The best part was definitely the outside - the front porch was a great place for a morning coffee, and the patio was perfect for evening drinks and dinners. Brand new grill - nicer than mine at home. Two washing machines meant no problem getting wet towels dry. The owner Joe was super responsive. The outside shower is a bit tired, but it didn’t stop us from using it all week. Overall - great place to stay if you want to be walking distance to all the action in OB, and have a larger group.
