This pocket of The Palm Beaches is an excellent jumping-off point for aquatic adventures of every kind. Our house is a 5 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach.

Make the ship-shape Riviera Beach Marina Village your first stop for a day on the water. If it’s angling you’re after, the many fishing charters and boat rentals based here will get you to the Gulf Stream faster than you can say “Sailfish Alley” (though marlin, wahoo, tuna, grouper and many more species also inhabit these legendary fishing grounds). You can also rent stand-up paddleboards, kayaks or jet-skis and savor brews with a view at Rafiki-Tiki.

Nearby, Manatee Lagoon gives families an up-close look at Florida’s state marine mammal. The discovery center features hands-on exhibits, kids’ classes and an observation deck where you can spot wild migrating manatees—all free of charge.

Divers and snorkelers from around the world flock to Phil Foster Park and its Underwater Snorkel Trail to explore thriving reefs, historic wrecks, sunken sculptures and diverse marine life. Sea turtles and tropical fish are common sights around Blue Heron Bridge, a crystal-clear section of the Intracoastal Waterway that’s been named the best dive site in the world. Singer Island has been perfecting the art of leisure for over a century. Named for Singer Sewing Machines heir Paris Singer, the island boasts waterfront hotels, multi million dollar homes and condos and seven miles of beaches, from the golden sands of Singer Island Municipal Beach to the rambling boardwalks of Ocean. Yet, still remains is it's uncommercialized quiet beach town feel. Still, the island is only minutes away from super malls, down town West Palm Beach glitz and the airport.

The beach, multitude of restaurants and some basic stores are a short walk away. Downtown, and shopping malls are about 15 minute drive. PBI airport is approximately 25 minutes drive.
