Some houses are on the beach but not all are beach houses. This is the Real Thing; built right into the dune. Step right off the deck onto the dune and a few more steps you're in the water! The beach front of the house has 40 foot frontage with all glass sliding doors, and windows. A great view from every room. The house has a private deck on the dune opening onto the grand mouth of the Chesapeake Bay /Atlantic Ocean and nine mile long beach! The dune gives some privacy from the beach

Stayed Jul 20, 2024Nice being right by bay, water. House was pretty basic. could use better kitchen items and more comfortable furniture. There is no way to lock sliding glass doors back of house from outside, just a wood 2 x 2 board inside to keep it locked.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Did not impact our stay as house was secure from winds and rain. We loved the fact that the beach was not crowded and so close to the house - very easy to access. Beds were comfy and big screen tv was great to watch the Olympics.

Stayed Aug 1, 2024I stayed there with my family in August. Beach was peaceful and the sunsets were beautiful. The house had all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024The house was great and we will stay there again. It was about a 25 minute drive to the boardwalk, but there is a grocery store right down the street where we were able to get everything we needed for the week.

Stayed Jul 14, 2023We all greatly enjoyed our stay. This fabulous beach house is steps away from the beac right over the dune. It was very relaxing to sit out on the deck and watch the ships go by. We cooked on the grill last night and enjoyed sitting bayside for dinner. The sunrise this morning was stunning! Thank you for providing kayaks for my family to use and the effortless check in procedure ?

Stayed Jun 24, 2023Hands down our most memorable vacation to date! The Owner actually came to say hello to us and the property managers Amanda, Cindy and Brian were so responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. The view is amazing, the back deck is perfect for coffee and a beautiful sunrise. The huge windows make waking up easy, when you open your eyes that beautiful view is mesmerizing. We have already planned our trip next year and we will be booking with Great Coastal again! Don’t hesitate just book it and thank me later!!
