Beach House on the Saginaw Bay near Bay City, Michigan

Wonderful house. Warm, gracious, responsive hosts. This is our third stay at this home. Clean and fully equipped. 3 generations friendly lay out.

This is our third visit to the property along the shore of Saginaw Bay. It is welcoming, comfortable, and has plenty of gathering space for all of our family members. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining table seats 8-10 without any difficulty. It is adjacent to the woods and wetlands with running/biking trails.We always enjoy our visits and we’ll be back.

The host is very easy to work with and the house is comfortable and right on the water. Trails just across the road and bikes in the garage are nice as well.

The view was spectacular the moment we walked in the door. We enjoyed the peacfulness of being on the water and listening to the ripples of water as we relaxed in the afternoon sun. Randy and Kelly couldn't have been more accomodating. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a place to escape from the rat race.

Beautiful beach front on a gorgeous great lake. Property is well cared for by the owners. Located in a high trust area with many opportunities for outdoor activities. Good wifi and amenities.

We loved this house more than any other house we have ever rented! The water was amazing; it is shallow for so far out we never reached an area that was over our head. We paddleboarded and kayaked. We used the bikes to bike to get lunch and ice cream and walked on the path almost every day! We were easily able to have food delivered from local restaurants and grocery stores, so no worries there! The neighborhood is just beautiful. The house was cool (central air) and cool with the beachy decor. The 3 bedrooms and 6 beds provided plenty of space.And to top off this great trip - the owner dropped off fresh picked vegetables that we turned into a delicious stir-fry!

This is our 2nd time staying with Randy and his wife. It’s simply one of those hidden treasures that are so awesome! Something for everyone young and old!

Beautiful place...immaculate upon check-in. Hosts always available to assist with questions. The star of the show...the view! It's like being on a houseboat!!! And the location is perfect; easy to get to stores, etc. Great attention to detail...no stone left unturned!

This is our favorite week of the year! We’ve been coming to Randy and Kelly’s for a decade. Our kids have grown up here. The place is perfect for two families. It has everything you could think of that you’d need for a perfect beach week. We’re so grateful!

House was just as described with everything you could need provided, perfectly clean and a great location. Randy was nice to talk to and a great host. I would highly recommend and would stay again!

Once a year my old college friends all get together to catch up, and this year we stayed here. The property, house, and amenities were all perfect for what we needed! The window views are beautiful of the lake!

The chilly winds provided us with panoramic views of rolling white capsand even a wind surfer flying past our picture window! While we stayed warm and cozy in this lovely cottage.Wonderful hosts!

Sleeps 9 comfortably with plenty of room indoors for eating, games, tv and indoor fireplace. On the bay so sunrise/sunset view is anmazing. Able to do a fire on the beach in the fire pit too! Great space for 9 adults to enjoy indoors/outoors, and close to stores etc if needed. May weather is unpredictable, but we have had fun for the last 2 years here. Hope to rent again next year!

This house was an amazing spot for our extended family to gather. The early risers enjoyed watching the sunrise while the rest of the group slept in. We loved the view and the beach, and really enjoyed the nature trails too. The house is well stocked with games, things to do, and kitchenware . Everything was very clean. We loved the location. Having never stayed in this area before this was the perfect booking. Prime location right on the water, close to all area activities and essentials, comfortable home, and plenty of room for the family. Highly recommended.

I had never been to Bay City before and was in charge of planning a weekend to celebrate 50 years of friendship with four friends. This house had absolutely everything we needed plus amazing lake views, immediate access to a bike path to downtown and a beautiful State park. Randy, the host, was extremely communicative and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property. An added bonus was seeing a bald eagle fly over us just as we arrived!

From start to finish, staying at this house went beyond our expectations. The house is extremely clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, and eating/cooking utensils. The views are spectacular, and we will miss our morning breakfast on the patio. Equally spectacular are the owners of the house. They are friendly and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic! Beautiful place, views and layout. The place was sparkling clean and had all the toys you could want. The owner happened by as I was struggling setting up the sunfish sailboat and he gave me a quick lesson. Can't wait to come back.

Great property with direct beach and lake access. Family played for hours each day in the water. Multiple family bike trips with the bikes provided. Easy trips to ice cream, mini golf, Tobico trails, and Bay City State Park. City amenities like movie theater and restaurants are a 10 min. drive. Weather was great, views were beautiful. Perfect place to stay if you want to relax and have fun.

Awesome place, very quaint and amazing access to water. The layout of the house was a little dangerous for young children (opened steps and lack of sufficient railings on upstairs hallway). There was also a good amount of breakables that we had to make sure to avoid. Especially the glass table by the couch facing out to the beach. I would definitely recommend it for adults or older children! Lauren

This was our ninth stay at Randy and Kelly’s place. Our kids have grown up coming here. It’s such a gem—it’s in great condition and has everything you could need or want. They are incredibly kind and hospitable. Thanks again for everything!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The home was a lively mix of old and new and we loved that we could hear the waves at night, even when the windows were closed, it was very calming. We also really loved the trail that was just outside of the property and enjoyed long walks and the marsh loop as well. We saw lots of deer and cranes and an eagle on several occasions. Randy was very kind and even dropped off some veggies from his garden. The queen and full beds were our issue with the property- they are older and not comfortable. Ultimately my husband and I opted to sleep in twin beds because those mattresses were newer and more comfortable.

Family vacation with husband and 2 young adult kids. Great weather, awesome location, and beautiful weather. Owner was very nice and helpful. House was as listed and pictures. Very relaxing, chill vacation spent with my favorite people. Local sight were great as well! Frankenmuth, USS Edson, downtown Bay City had many seasonal events, and local restaurants were great! Would definitely return!
