BEACH HOUSE • Oasis - 50m to Dream Beach

Really convenient, once we found it! Exterior of the exact apartment was a little confusing to identify, although the directions for how to get there were detailed. Once we got there, we had a wonderful time- just steps to the beach, with several other places to hike to. By car, we were within reach of a number of other beautiful sites. Everything was spotless and ready for us. Outdoor areas were a bonus! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The property had all the amenities that we needed. The Moorish style accents were delightful and the court yard was like a dream. We were very happy with our stay

We enjoyed our short stay in Salema at this beach house. The ambience is lovely with the moorish architecture expressed inside, and intimate outdoor courtyard space. This spot is also just a 5 minute walk from the beach and surrounding restaurants.Items of note:We stayed with our young (5 year old) daughter and while she did just fine with the steep stairs, this might not be a great place for toddlers. The kitchen is small but you could probably cook a basic meal so long as you remember to stop by the grocery store outside of town. The grocery store in town doesn’t really have much to support dining in. The two upstairs bedrooms are interconnected and only separated by curtains. That was fine for us as a single family but just something to be aware of. There also isn’t air conditioning (that I could see) but there are some fans to help circulate air during the warmer evenings. We found out a little too late that the host has alternative coffee options besides a nespresso machine, so be sure to ask if you don’t care for that particular coffee type! Lastly, we found the beds comfortable but could have used some lower loft pillows for our sleep needs.But we enjoyed this little spot and would recommend it for others who might be enjoying a short stay in Salema.

This property was a jewel of a find for those that want an alternative to a touristy hotel and want privacy. The hosts attention to detail was amazing- gorgeous Moroccan decor and cozy courtyard and rooftop. The only caution is to make sure you can handle the steep stairs to the bedrooms and trek uphill from the parking lot w your luggage but we are all in our 70’s and managed! It was so great to be able to walk to great restaurants and sit on the benches on the seaway soaking up the view or watching the tractor pull fishing boats into the sea. Salema has an authentic laid back vibe that has been lost in much of the algarve. We are so grateful to have chosen it!

If you think you just go to holiday if you chose this offer then you go totally wrong! Sure - you travel to Salema. That's right! But when you enter 'Saudade' you will be kicked out of time and place. You dive into a manifested dream of the phantasie of a person you probably will never meet but you will love her effort to make her dream come true from the first moment. Sure - not cheap - but you'll will never find a KICK like this very soon! WE loved it and were totally out of time and place as we stayed in 'Saudade'. Thank a lot - with a deep warm smile from our hearts. M&M

We never got to stay at the location due to a flying ant infestation problem. I would not recommend anyone stay here. The host has been less than understanding in this situation. Just so you are aware there are also several cats that seem to live outside the front door. Thank you

The parking and unloading of suitcases was an issue. We had to park in town and walk everything in. We knew parking would be hard but did not expect it to be so challenging to unload suitcases.

Fabulous property by the sea. Everything was perfect. We chose to eat in because the place was too lovely to leave. Peter was easy to deal with We loved Salema. Wished we could stay longer.

Great location in Saleama. Peter was so responsive and offered so many recommendations for things to do.
