Beach House in Pacific Beach 3 bdrm with home office, 2 blocks to ocean

1940’s remodeled Beach house in North Pacific Beach. Main house has two bedrooms and two baths, a large dining area with an extendable dining table and open modern kitchen. I have additional chairs as well as a card table for your convenience.

The backyard cottage, a few steps from the main house, is a separate remodeled living space with sleeper sofa, TV, vanity and with an attached home office featuring a stand up-sit down desk with French doors opening onto the backyard. There is no bathroom in the separate cottage. There is a surfer shower in the backyard.

Large backyard with sand area and fire pit. Large front patio with seating and outside collapsible table for dining al fresco and watching sunsets, portable fire pit for front yard available as well.

Exterior lighting is controlled by one switch at the back door. It turns on the lights on the west and the east side of the house.

Please do not leave the exterior lights on during the day.
Heating and Air conditioning and fully stocked modern kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room full sized washer and dryer. Please do not leave the AC on when you leave. We have four exposures and plenty of cool ocean breezes.

Short two blocks walk to wide sandy beach, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Please rinse off sand before entering house. Sand destroys the wood floors and gets into everything. It is virtually impossible to get out completely. It is absolutely forbidden to wash out your beach gear (bathing suits, towels, toys etc) in any of the house sinks or bathtub. You need to rinse off all sand, seaweed, etc either in the outside shower or with the hoses in the back and front yards.

The schedule for Garbage and recycling collection is posted on the refrigerator. Please put the garbage and recycling (see blue bin pickup, which is every other week, on calendar) bins at the curb on Monday mornings.

Gardeners come on Mondays, please let us know if you would prefer they not come during your stay.
