Beach House Getaway, Steps From The Beach

This house is in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach and a coffee stand.

We loved how close this was to the beach but felt awkward walking so close to another house to get there. Loved the house, bedrooms and amenities in the house and the location. Nice, quiet area, small town right there and Newport and Florence not too far away.

Nice rental. Close easy access to the beach.

We chose this rental for the king bed and the location, both of which were good. The owner gave directions to the house in advance which was nice. Entrance to the house was difficult because there were two lock boxes and no directions as to how to get the key out of the box. The routine cleaning of the house was fine but the house is in need of a deep cleaning and reorganization. The kitchen drawers, shelves, and pantry needed reorganizing and cleaning. There was not any open shelf to store our groceries. The closets were cluttered so difficult to use. The blinds had slats or wands missing and the very old lamp by my bed was broken. The window valances were layered in dust. The decor and the house were dated. The beer bottles lining the top of the kitchen cabinets made us feel like we were in a college apartment and were not in the online pictures. There was no soap for the showers, only nice bottles of hand soap for the sink. The exterior of the house was rusted in places and there was not any indication of landscaping or a garden as indicated in the description. There were lots of puzzles and games which would be fun for a famiy.

it was as advertised. Their were four of us, we needed three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Amenities were great, especially the washer dryer. Location was good, as we spent our time on local trails, Cape Perpetua, Thor's Well, Devils Churn, and enjoyed local restaurants and shops

Wonderful property! Provided us with everything we needed to enjoy a fantastic family vacation. The shed had chairs and beach supplies, the house was spacious, and we could see the beach from our windows! Excellent!

This property was comfortable and clean. We chose it specifically because it had a king-size bed. If you are a family that likes to hang out, work puzzles, and play games, this might be the place for you.

The home had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for my family of 4.

This our 5th summer at this property. It feels like our home away from home. Everyone we need is available in this property. Your family will enjoy your stay very much.

Excellent beds,lots of room for our teenaged daughters, very nice layout. Very ,very quiet neighborhood.We felt at home immediately.The little trail was just perfect for a peaceful early morning walk at the beach.!!!

We enjoyed our stay and our house. Very comfortable and we enjoyed the coast.

Comfortable bright beach home. Very well supplied. Short drive/walk to miles of sandy beach. Reasonable driving distances to several quaint beach towns. Nice westside deck for evening/sunset viewing. Sunny eastside covered deck for enjoying your morning libations. Yes, we will be back to this home away from home beach house.

We stayed here for a few days in July and had a lovely time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. You can see the ocean from the living room, and there is a nice back porch. The neighborhood was quite, and you couldn't hear any road noise. You can walk to the beach through the neighborhood, but it's quite a steep drop to the first step on the makeshift stairs once you reach the beach. If you have mobility concerns, you can also access the beach from the Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site, which has an entrance the next street down.

This was an amazing stay!! Property and manager as well as the owners were fantastic. We will be back..
