This homely cottage, only 800 metres to the beach has recently undergone and extensive renovation which includes new kitchen and appliances, new kitchen utensils, plates and glasses. New chairs, cushions and roller blinds. The property was repainted and the sand stone floors tiles resealed. There is also an outdoor shower for those coming back from the beach.

Stayed Dec 22, 2025Not providing linen and towels was a minus and the floors were dirty. Pillows should have protectors on them.

Stayed Nov 5, 2025Hose was well presented and we took our pets that loved the area.Only negative was the BBQ was very dirty and we could not use it, and there wasn't any firewood for the wood heater, despite being told there was some in the shed.I was happy to buy some which we did.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025We really enjoyed our short stay in the cottage. After some initial issues with the hot water the property owner immediately organised a repair and the system was repaired within a few hours. Communications was fantastic and the owners handled the situation exemplary! We would book the cottage again for a visit to Venus Bay! Thank you!

Stayed Mar 8, 2025A great place for a long weekend. Kids loved the roof loft and a great area for them to unwind from parents. House clean and good communication with the owners.

Stayed May 17, 2024This property was just right for our stay in Venus Bay. It is well sited and easy to access. The wood heater was a bonus on the colder nights. The communication from the owner was timely and appropriate in preparing us for the stay. Whilst it is not a modern cottage, it was more than adequate for our stay.

Stayed Oct 20, 2023The cottage was very clean and well equipped kitchen. Arrived late on Friday night and instructions were easy. A beautiful evening about 24 degrees. Saturday was fine and Sunday was very stormy. We were very comfortable and cozy with the fire. Thank you
