BEACH HOUSE- 5 min walk to beach with POOL and SPA

Wonderful house with a great pool and spa! Everything was well stocked. The host met us at check in to give a walk through of everything and we didn’t need her the rest of the trip. The space was large enough for our group of 7.

Amazing house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- great host, beautiful entertaining area. Convenient to everything/ will be back next year.

What a wonderful place to stay!

Perfect spot to stay for our family get together! While the lagoon and Tamarack Beach were a short walk away, we were content to enjoy the open air kitchen/living room, and the pool was a delight for the kids. Lots of places to congregate or find a quiet place to lounge. Our host was very responsive and the home was super clean. Definitely will rebook if we are back in the area with family.

We had a lovely time in Carlsbad. The house is in a great location, the pool and spa are so lovely, and it has great spaces to gather indoors and outdoors. Our host was responsive and friendly. Check in was very easy. There was no shampoo or bathroom products available- so make sure to pack your own! There is also no speaker for music- which may be because of neighbors. Lastly, not a huge deal at all, but there was outside landscaping and work being done 2 of the days we were there. We navigated it easily, but it would have been nice to know it was happening ahead of time.

Everything was great and we had a wonderful time at this house. The outdoor area was particularly outstanding.

We stayed here for Spring Break, 7 family members & 1 foreign exchange student. Here are the areas that are most important to me;1. Location: The location is 2 blocks to the ocean and 10 minutes from EVERYTHING! Legoland, Flower of Carlsbad, Oceanside Pier and restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. House is located on a quiet dead-end street.2. Amenities: This house has EVERYTHING you need for a relaxing vacation. The backyard is the nicest I've ever stayed at. Pool, hot tub, outdoor seating, outdoor dining, pool toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, fully loaded kitchen, exquisite master bathroom, huge great room.3. Owner responsiveness: The owner was out of town visiting family for Easter but that didn't mean she was unavailable. Just the opposite, she was totally accessible and answered all my obnoxious questions. I've never experienced and owner as responsive as her.4. Kitchen: The kitchen is the most important to my wife. She LOVED this kitchen. Gas stove & oven, huge island, plenty of cups, plates and bowls, every utensil you'll ever need, pots and pans, and most important, open to converse with family while cooking. This house hit all the marks for me. I hope we stay here again.

You cannot beat this backyard and location! Everything the images show and was very accessible to the beach. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful to get everything set up, they did require meeting at a time for check in which felt difficult to plan traveling in but ended up not being an issue. Communicated with the host as well that the place could have been cleaner, but they were open to addressing this. Nothing terrible, could just tell the house gets a lot of guests and could use a deep clean. Would recommend and would stay again if we were in the area.

This place was wonderful. Kids enjoyed the pool, especially the shallow entry area. Everything you need-towels, laundry, games and toys for the kids. The host team was super responsive on check-in. And after a few issues popped up with the pool & hot tub, they got it fixed pronto. Hope to return soon!!

The back yard is to die for. The hot tub, pool, bar area, and grill were all very nice. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. You have to see this place to believe it. We cant wait to get back.

Property was a mess from winds.We had to call to have them come and clean it up.

It was wonderful having the beach within walking distance and then to come back and jump in the pool and spa!

House was beautiful, backyard peaceful, well stocked kitchen and lots of towels, beautiful sunset view from the front yard and very close walk to the beach. This is one of the only rental houses I’ve stayed at that I would totally return to,

The host was responsive, and the location was great- about 1/4-1/3 of a mile walk down to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped.

This was a very well appointed home. Super clean and everything needed for cooking, cleaning etc. Pool and spa, outdoor kitchen all worked perfectly. We loved it!

We had a great time at the beach and the pool. Property had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We also enjoyed the games and puzzles that were available.

Great location and perfect for entertaining. There are only 2.5 bathrooms, not 4 as advertised.

This is a dream property!! We feel so lucky that Janet hosts so generously. We had a smooth check in, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances we wish we had at our own home. Minutes walk to the lagoon and beach, even walked into town multiple times along the beach. But the backyard!! The pool, tub, couches, grill, twinkly lights, we felt we were at our own private resort. Thank you for helping make our family getaway so magical! We hope to return and make it an annual reunion.

The house had everything we needed to accommodate the 10 of us. My grandkids couldn’t get enough of the pool. Short walk for my fisherman son to fish . And the neighborhood was super quiet

I couldn’t have asked for a perfect place to enjoy with family. We were walking distance to the beach. And only 5 mins to stores etc.. absolutely loved the pool spent a lot of time relaxing and barbecuing. Definitely coming back! This is a great place for family stay. The pool is fabulous. the beach is walking distance and Legoland is just a few miles away. We had an awesome time.

Perfect house for 6 adults and 2 children (ages 8 1/2 years & 23 months).The pool area is absolutely perfect and enjoyable!! Everyone, adults & kids, had so much fun!You have to see it - pictures do not do it justice!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the large kitchen/ family room, which was perfect for our family meals. The outdoor fire pit was so nice for the cool evenings. The pool was great & the hot tub grotto was so cool!.

We booked this house for my parents 50th anniversary. They wanted to spend time with their children and grandchildren to celebrate. This was the perfect house. It is close to the lagoon and beach, the walk is gorgeous. When we weren’t at the beach the pool kept everyone entertained. So many memories were made and we can’t wait to return.

This house helped our vacation tremendously on a stormy day we were able to stay and swim in the pool instead of the beach. Great place.

Nearby beaches, restaurants, gas stations, and everything else we needed to make this a perfect stay. The pool and spa made the trip though because when we weren't out exploring we were in the pool. We would definitely return.

This house is in a perfect location with walking distance to the beach we love the hot tub and swimming pool, which you can control the temperature from the house. The backyard cooking area is perfect for the large families. I would rent this house again

Beautiful single-level home with backyard oasis, located away from (but close enough to) Carlsbad Village, near Tamarack Beach. Hosts were extremely accommodating in terms of communication and friendliness.

We travel frequently and stay in many vacation rentals and this is on the top of our list. The location, house amenities and the backyard were just perfect! The pool and hot tub were such a hit with everyone - and the pool was heated!! What a bonus. We enjoyed being able to get to the beach in 5 minutes and then coming back to the house to BBQ and swim. The communication with the owner was quick and professional. Do yourself a favor and check out this rental next time you are in San Diego!!

Stayed 3 nights. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was great.

Excellent location, beautiful pool and great kitchen. Short walk to beach and town and easy to explore nearby sites. Couldn’t get the grill to work and a bit dusty, but a very lovely place for our family - including a 2 year old and 4 young adults. Bo us points for a great selection of toys!

This house is in a really great location. Very comfortable home with lovely amenities. The outdoor living spaces and hot tub were very enjoyable. Perfect for our family.

The location was excellent. Plenty of space to spread out in this rental. I did not get fives all the way across because the two single beds need new mattresses. They are really horrible. The queen bed barely passes too. Sleeping is a very important part of our life. If they would take care of this, they would get fives all the way across

Great place that is in a central location. Back yard is gorgeous and fun!! House is clean and beautiful. Loved it!!

An excellent choice for our group of nine ranging in age from 4 to 78.

We loved this home! It was a terrific place to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday because there was something for everyone. Even my college-age nephew didn't mind hanging out. The kids loved the pool, and I loved being able to surf nearby. Hope to return again!
