Beach House 22 - Beach front completely renovated

Wonderful beachfront house- seemed brand new after recent renovations. Several rooms were very warm when we got there, but cooled quickly with the AC and ceiling fans. A couple of items were overlooked by the housekeeping staff (dish washing pods, trash bags), but easily replaced. Some rooms were incompletely furnished due to recent renovations, but no big deal. Great built in bunk beds (queen sized) for the kids in one bedroom. Big screen TVs everywhere. Laid back week with kids and grandkids! Dolphins everywhere, as well as a nest of bald eagles in a tree about 200 ft away. Recommend loading up at Publix, etc. before leaving the mainland. Captiva’s remoteness is just what the doctor ordered for us, but resupplying with groceries takes some time due to very slow traffic on Sanibel and Captiva.

Outstanding house in every way. Beautiful and clean with an effectively private beach. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Beautiful property and perfect location for a quiet beach vacay. All would have been 5 stars with the exception of the a/c. An hour before we arrived we were informed via text that the a/c would be governed not to go below 72 . That is fine if we had known in advance we would have brought portable fans as we like to sleep cool .

My family has vacationed in Captiva for over 15 years. Beach House 22 has been our favorite so far. Only a few steps from the water and sunsets from the patio. We usually spend a lot of time at our favorite restaurants but found ourselves not wanting to leave the house. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Another amazing stay in Captiva and Beach House 22 was perfect.

The house was beautiful and situated right on the gulf. The neighbors were friendly and the property was very easy to navigate. A bike is a necessity to get around the island and we had so much fun exploring. The house is tastefully decorated and very aesthetically pleasing, bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and generously sized, common area was perfect for hanging out and decompressing in the evening. Beautiful home and beautiful location. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location. Well maintained. Clean. Good beach chairs and umbrellas. Very comfortable. We're repeat guests and plan to return again!

We just wrapped up an amazing week at Beach Home 22. Being steps to the beach & pool was perfect for our family with young kids. Watching dolphins & manatees from the beach as well as sunset over the water was truly magical. The property had everything we needed including plenty of beach toys, towels, chairs, and an umbrella. The property was clean, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. The property manager was very responsive & great to work with. I can’t say enough great things. We will definitely be back!
