Beach Glass Bungalow-Colonial Beach Private Beach/Dock -Water View

Loved our stay at beach glass bungalow! Wonderful views of the water from the wrap around deck, indoor dining table, and even the cozy corner of the sofa. The private beach to enjoy as often as we wanted was ideal for kids. Our young boys loved playing in the pebbles and watching the ducks. Definitely don't forget to bring water shoes! The convenience to everything in town is unmatched. Other beaches, grocery store, and playgrounds are all super easy to get too. We highly recommend Ice House Brewery and GrandPa Hawaii Shaved Ice.

House was very clean and well set up. Make sure you rent one of Nate’s golf carts and have a great time. We especially enjoyed AM on the dock watching everything get started for the day.Thanks Nate for a great stay!!!

The Beach Glass Bungalow was a great stay for us, just as advertised. Loved the private beach and dock, and especially watching the osprey nest. Great for walking the dogs, also liked the affordable golf cart rental… Will likely return when the town is back open for the season…

Well maintained property, nice outdoor area if you are there in warmer weather and close to coffee shops and restaurants.

What a great little getaway house. It most definitely is a small little bungalow but perfect for a small family (1 kid or two if they don't mind sharing a bed) and I think you said that was all. The location is beyond convenient and just a quick walk to everything in town. We brought our dog and cannot recommend staying there enough! Although the yard isn't fenced, if your dog is well trained and well behaved you won't miss it. You are just up the street from a private stretch of beach where fido & kids can play, watch osprey & ducks or jump in the water. Back at the house the appliances are all newer, internet TV & wifi all available and there's a washer & dryer if you need it. Only one bathroom so that's something to be aware of but not an issue. Communication with owner was easy and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

This is our second time staying in one of Nate's properties and each time we are so pleased! The communication is outstanding and quick - you never have to wait for an answer. The homes are always clean and the locations are just lovely! This particular home was so nice that we would like to stay in it again

Very clean house with private beach. Walking distance to town or a short ride down the street. Our stay was great and the owner is very responsive.

There are two active construction sites w/ one next door (between this rental and Nate's stone house mentioned in the listing). The second, a new remodel, is two lots up the street. We traveled with an infant and dog and would have skipped this property had we known about the construction. The good news: This is a really nice little place in that it's a clean recent remodel, with nice kitchen/bath, and a great A/C (it was ~100°F the first day there!). The property is walk-able to almost all Colonial Beach's shops and restaurants, and it's very quiet at NIGHT. The bad news (for us at least): We booked on the 18th of August and I just can't see how the construction next door was that far along but never mentioned. During Friday and Saturday of our stay the work crew was wrapping the house in Tyvek and starting roofing. Instead of planned quiet afternoon naps, lunches on the porch, and some relaxing beach time we got to be serenaded by air-powered nail guns, hammers, and table saws. With our infant in tow we weren't able to just leave the house for 8-10 hour stretches, although we did get out as much as we could. There are many Adirondack chairs here but only two which weren't broken on the right arm. Four more were very visibly broken and stacked in the back yard which; surprisingly, doubled as the construction lots storage area. Lastly, there's a 7' or 8' wooden fence on the construction lot currently and it blocks half of this rentals porch-view to the beach.

Our family really enjoyed the bungalow, private pier and beach. Close to everything!
