Beach front, 3/2 in the house with a 3rd bath downstairs in the garage

Carol is very welcoming and accommodating. It was our 3rd time to stay at her wonderful beach front property. We always leave feeling so relaxed.

Great stay as always! Despite some major mistakes I made regarding booking and dates, the host was wonderful and accommodating. My 3rd or 4th time to stay here and hopefully not my last! The views and generous space for our group were amazing. Galveston in the fall is my favorite time of year

Perfect beachfront gem. Clean and well maintained house that sits right on the water. There is an added bonus in that it is a fair hike to the public parking for the beach. So you don't get many people trying to crowd the beach right in front of the property. Overall, an excellent stay that I would repeat.

My children, grandchildren, husband and I had a wonderful beach vacation at this well located house. We were comfortable in the bedrooms; the newly renovated bathrooms and laundry room are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the large upper porch. Everything for the beach was waiting for us in the garage- awesome! We loved the convenience of the bathroom in the garage and the outdoor shower. The kitchen was adequate- could be better organized and have fewer small appliances so there could be space for food since the pantry was full of unneeded items. Definitely would stay here again!

First of all li like to thank you for having us. I like to provide my own perspective and provide positive criticism. I believe that the house is cluttered and lacks some important things that people don’t usually want to carry around like small working and clean appliances. Pizza pans, trash bags and other items like that. Too many cups but not practical dishes. Dishes were very pretty but not comfortable to use because of the ridges in the design. A white couch cover that we didn’t use for the fear making it dirty. The rooms and sleeping arrangements in the MB not convenient at all. Blackout curtains could be a great improvement. The deck though is spacious and has amazing views it’s in need or care . We couldn’t walk barefooted because there are splinters and loose boards, there also areas of missing railing with large gaps very dangerous for small children .

Our small group loved every minute at this property, perfectly situated on the water and appointed with thoughtful features, including motorized blinds and a full outdoor shower. Thanks for everything!!

We booked for our daughter’s dance competition family vaca. It was clean, awesome location, and the owner communicated well with us! It was nice to be right on the beach as there was always something to do for the family even during busy dance days. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect home, well stocked with everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us. Host was immediately available for any questions we had. Will definetly be back!

We had a great long weekend here! The house was perfect and allowed us to enjoy the beach right out the door. Would def stay again!

Carol was great to deal with. This was the second Thanksgiving we have stayed at the property. We had a great time and the beachfront views were amazing.

Fantastic beach house, great beach just steps from the house. The house was spotless and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The owner stayed in contact, and was super to deal with. We will definitely stay again in the future.

The property was wonderful for our stay. It was a multi-generational group and we were able to spend a relaxing few days enjoying each other’s company. The beach setting was amazing for maternity pictures as well.

This is a great house! The location is amazing! It is just outside of Galveston to get a little more quiet feel, but close enough to get to main attractions quickly! The house is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! This is soooo convenient! There is also a bathroom down stairs which makes it easy when you’re at the beach! There is everything you need in this house! It sleeps a lot of people and the family room/kitchen is an open concept! This is great for families or large groups! I would recommend staying here!

This house is literally right on the beach. Great, quiet neighborhood and wonderful balcony. Definitely a great house for a family beach vacation.

Great location a few steps from the beach. Huge balcony facing the water. The beach house included everything you need for a fantastic summer vacation.

The property was well maintained and the upstairs was spotless. The kitchen, bedrooms, landry and living room were as described and in good condition. Lots of beach toys were available in the garage, which came in handy with my grandson. Unfortunately, the downstairs garage lights did not work which Carol reported to me. The only other issue was with the BBQ grill in the garage, which had some kind of white mold all over the inside, so we did not use it. Neither of these things impacted our stay as we were able to cook on the stove upstairs and used the garage mainly in the daytime with a door open so we could see to use the facilities. The only casualty during our stay was a white Mainstays dinner plate, which I dropped and it broke. We were able to setup a canopy on the beach at low tide during the day and play in the water. At night we took walks along the beach and looked for crabs. On Memorial day a neighbor even gave our group boiled crawfish, which was tasty and most appreciated. I would reccomend Carol's beach house for families with children, with the warning that there is a single lane sand and shell access road between the house and the beach. During the weekdays there was very little traffic and we saw the police monitoring this area alot, however, on the weekend the traffic increased as did the speed of the vehicles.

Outstanding property—beautiful home, clean, lots of space, all bedrooms on one level, great for kids (beach toys, beach chairs, cart to carry items to beach, indoor toys & books for kids and adults). Check out all the amenities provided—too many to list! Communication with owner was excellent. I look forward to booking this VRBO again!
