BEACH CLIFF BEAUTY - Fantastic views on Lake Superior and Silver Creek

We have stayed at Beach Cliff Beauty many times, and we always love it. The location is unbeatable. We spent time at the house, but also ventured out to several of the state parks. We brought sleds this year and took advantage of the big hill after a snowstorm as well! If I had any constructive feedback, it would be that the beds are quite uncomfortable. I personally would be willing to pay more to stay at the property if money were invested to upgrade the mattresses. Also, there weren't enough garbage bags provided (3), and the mini shampoo/conditioner/body washes weren't enough for six people staying three nights. Ziplock storage bags would have been nice, too. We had an amazing time as always, and I'm sure we'll be back!

We really enjoyed the views from the property-especially in the sun room which was great! Really liked the location and all of the games and books to make you feel at home. Would love to come back in summer. Thanks for your hospitality!

We loved our stay here! Great location for visiting the north shore and lots of fun at the house itself. Exploring the shoreline, watching the eagles and reading while snuggled under a blanket in the sunroom with the pellet stove running were some of our favorite times. Would love to return again - the views really are unparalleled!!

Perfect location; private, yet close to town for easy access to grocery store and restaurants

We enjoyed our time at the cabin on Lake superior. It was a beautiful setting. The house is very comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions that arose.

Very nice home. Some aspects were a little older but not too much. Outstanding views! Loved the beach and fire pit right next to the water. Also enjoyed the privacy. Would definitely go back.

What a beautiful place to stay. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The sunroom was our favorite spot to hang out. We even got to watch the eagles by the beach while sitting in there. We also enjoyed exploring the beach. Definitely want to stay here again sometime.

Beautiful property! Offers convenience in location to Two Harbors & Gooseberry Falls. Spacious with 2-2 1/2 living rooms, large dining table as well as smaller table in kitchen and another in the sun room area. This was perfect for our get away!

PERFECT place to stay. Fun for the whole family. Location was great. The kids want to stay there again next year.

Check in was excellent. Need to have hand soap in dispensers and more fans for summertime.

We stayed at this property for a few days and loved every minute of it. The views of the lake from the sunroom and the private beach truly are amazing. What really impressed me, however, was Sarah, the property manager. One of our children accidentally locked us out of the bedroom upstairs. Sarah was very prompt in responding to us and paid for a locksmith to drive up from Duluth to open the door and save our trip. We will definitely be coming back for our next trip, and are grateful for such a good property manager

The views were beautiful

I grew up in Duluth and this was first time taking my grandchildren to the Northshore. This was the best location and place for a family stay. The huge glass windows on the main level allowed constant views of the lake and sky. The walk to the lake and river was easy and a fun place to experience the lake and bird life. It is an easy walk to the paved part of the Kitchie Kami trail and scenic views. Also close to Rustic Inn with good pies, Gooseberry Falls, and Split Rock Lighthouse. Enjoy!

Life is good! Was the best place for exploring. Two eagles were there every day and some deer plus about a group of 50 geese. House was perfect for us. Loved just sitting by the lake in our spare time.

We have stayed here 6 years now and we love our week on the North Shore. This place was fantastic as usual!!

The listing title speaks the truth, for sure!The house is great. The location is wonderful! My group has explored the North Shore many times and this place worked for us perfectly. The kitchen is amply sized and very well outfitted, the sunroom is the best feature of this cottage though. Interior space is terrific but the waterfront is what will be remembered. Lake and creek cannot be beat.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Property was just as described. The location is amazing, directly on the lake. Very private. We had a pair of bald eagles to watch all weekend.

My husband and I stayed here in September for a week and the rental was perfect. The house has everything you need and is cozy. The view is perfect! We loved the private beach areas for rock hunting, fishing, and campfires. We loved watching the freighters go by and seeing all the wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of six had a fantastic week staying at this property. The location is simply gorgeous. The house is cozy and there was plenty of room for us to spread out, but also great areas for playing games together, having meals, etc. I simply can't say enough about the property itself. We had so much fun down by the shore looking for agates and having bonfires. The water was crystal clear. We've rented a variety of houses and cabins over the years and I can easily say this was our favorite.

Family with young kids. We picked the property because of the proximity to Two Harbors (7 min) and the private beach. The property is very private. Great sunroom and deck space to enjoy the incredible views. Kids spent hours hunting for agates and skipping rocks. The house is worn but has everything you need for a North Shore getaway. The kitchen was stocked with all cooking ware. Beds were comfortable and extra linens available. We were refunded about 30% of total cost due to a couple issues including lots of beetle bugs inside the house. The many holes in the window screens and missing window screens are a Catch 22 with no AC and hot buggy weather.

Beautiful spot to take in Lake Superior. Great location for the lake with a private beach. The deck and the house offer breathtaking views. The house is spacious for family to spread out if needed while staying for extended period. Location is ideal for short day trips to nearby attractions. Lots of wildlife to observe such as rabbits, eagles, hawks, hummingbirds, and fish. Our only complaint during the stay was that we had problems with many centipede bugs in the house during our stay which may be common for an older house near water, but it would make this location ideal if this was addressed.
