Beach Baby - Kitty Hawk MP 2.5, Oceanfront, 3 Bedrooms, Best Views on the OBX, Pets OK

We had a wonderful stay. The house is older but charming and had absolutely everything we needed. My husband and I, in our 60's, have some physical issues. This house is very close to the beach and the ocean so getting back and forth to the beach was a breeze. There were boogie boards, chairs, umbrella and beach canopies all provided. The photos on VRBO are not exact as the dunes have risen since the walkway was built but still super easy to get to the beach. We would stay here again. Good places to eat close by.

Location is great. House needs cleaned. Ceilings and fans are filthy. Mold in the shower is just nasty. Screen doors are construction fence not screening. Deck is falling apart in places. Dont plan on using the picnic table. It is unusable. Furniture is shabby and broken down. I could say more but will stop here

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I chose this property because the photos showed a view of the beach from the screened porch/deck. I was traveling with a disabled person who cannot go out on the beach but wanted them to feel as close to the beach as possible. Unfortunately the photos on the website are old and the dune has been built up so that the view is now blocked. It is also so steep that beach access is difficult even for someone without disability. Photos of properties should be updated when changes like this occur. Propert was clean but we dealt with ants from the first day. Property is old and needs updating to be worth the price.

We had an enjoyable stay at Beach Baby. It’s a basic older beach cottage with nice outdoor spaces. The pictures of the ocean side of the house could use updating, as the view and beach access have been taken over by the dune. The dune is six to eight feet taller than when the pictures were taken. That said, it’s still a nice little place.

Just a short 4 days away in the nice and quiet of the day. No rush. No rules. No care. Just relaxing with the ocean
