Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our host, Sarah, was really terrific with such a warm personality and was the highlight of our stay. We left a souvenir bookmark behind and Sarah was so accommodating and mailed it to us. Our Wild Ginger suite was very comfortable and met out expectations and the included morning breakfasts were wonderful. We would stay here again.

Stayed Nov 10, 2025So nice to soak in hot tub after hiking and comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. Hosts were gracious and had maps, advice for exploring Volcano NP (about 5-10 min drive.)

Stayed Sep 28, 2025Such a lovely place to stay! Rhonda was a delightful hostess, breakfasts were yummy and filling, and it's always interesting to meet other travelers at a B & B. Best of all, this is only about 5 minutes from the national park, which is VERY convenient when Kilauea erupts in the middle of the night! The location is secluded and quiet, letting you go to sleep to the sound of the coqui frogs. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed Apr 17, 2025Awesome space to visit! Room had everything necessary to enjoy our weekend stay. Having breakfast and all the coffee we could drink was a plus to start our day. No to mention long convo’s with our lovely host Sarah. Trips to the farmers markets, restaurants and the National Park were a short drive away.

Stayed Dec 29, 2024We loved our two nights at the B and B - the location felt private, but was very close to the park. Breakfasts were delicious and communication with the host was super easy.

Stayed Mar 31, 2023Beautiful property in a great location near volcano park. Owner requests no shoes in the house so recommend you bring house slippers because the weather can be pretty cold for bare feet on wood and tile floors. Sarah had great insights for local sights and always served lovely breakfasts with local fresh fruit. Only possible negative was difficulty with hot water cutting out. I told Sarah about this and she was going to have the water heater looked at.

Stayed Apr 10, 2022This B and B, nicely managed with personal touches, was luxuriously comfortable. We enjoyed meeting other guests at our cozy breakfasts warmed by a wood fireplace. Highly recommended for couples like us or for singles and welcoming of diversity.
