Stayed May 15, 2025We had an amazing stay at 4412 Bob Smith Rd in Jamaica Beach, Galveston. The house was clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s perfectly situated for enjoying the sunrise & sunset, fishing off a pier, grass or deck, and bird watching all around. The neighborhood felt safe and serene, making it a great place to unwind. We’re just a short drive to pocket beaches, Galveston State Park, and everything that Galveston has to offer. Fishing was the highlight—, nearby houses have placed lights under the water to attract plankton which attract schools of feeder fish, which attract larger fish. It was so much fun to get up in the middle of the night to watch this take place & try to hook a few. Ryson Vacation Rentals did a phenomenal job from start to finish. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Their communication was AMAZING. Ryson was understanding and accommodating when I did not want to text my I.D. to them & when I had a 3rd dog. They offered reasonable options which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend both the home and Ryson for anyone looking to enjoy Jamaica Beach Galveston to the fullest!

Stayed May 1, 2025Beds were rock hard to start. We had called the property manager because when we had got back from the restraunt the gate was shut which we left open and lights to outside were turned off which the house was locked so only someone with a key could have got in. Called the property Manager and since they had no cameras they didn’t know and was told they would call back which never happened. So we left because we didn’t feel comfortable at that point. On the plus side the place was set up very cute inside and it’s a great location easy to get to the beach or Galveston!
