**** Please note, Texas weather brings pesky insects, and while we strive to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, we are not able to control the elements that attract insects to the outdoor/indoor areas. All properties do utilize pest control maintenance regularly, BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
** The host does not guarantee stable wifi services at all times during your stay. This may also affect streaming services for televisions.

NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Nice community with activities. Large deck right on the water. Good location. Cleaning crew needs to focus on cleaning from wall to wall, not just beds and counter tops. I swept the floor and there was dirt and dust that had clearly been there a very long time.

First of all, I never received the check in instructions/access code. We were waiting outside the property for about an hour and a half. During that time, I was trying to contact the host through online message and phone, but no answer. And when they finally contacted me via phone, I spent another 20-30 minutes getting the right access code. The host kept giving the incorrect code. So this was a big waste of our time. Secondly, the trailer is out of date and needs a lot of repair and upkeep. The back door to the patio, kept opening with the wind and didn't remain shut unless you lock it from the inside. Third, the water pressure from the shower is horrible and the water lever kept coming off the stem. Fourth, who ever is cleaning the place needs to do a better job, there dead roaches inside. I can go on and on but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to imply. The last thing and this is a safety concern is the cut open flooring in the kitchen, my wife tripped a few times, almost falling to the floor. We travel a lot, and by far this has been the worst experience we ever had. I would not recommend this place or wish this experience on anyone.

I am not going to say there was mod in the unit, but I am very allergic to mold and when in the unit, I was stopped up and had headaches. It was so bad, I was suppose to leave on Thursday the 8th, but left early on Sunday the 4th. The first night I thought it was stale and musty from lack of use and ac running. We were only in the unit at night, so during the day I would get better. On the second night, it started when we came back in. I checked the ac filter in the floor in the dining area and it was all crumpled up, not fitting the rectangle access to the duct work, and extremely dirty. I tried to straighten it the best I could. Also, it is a central unit and the compressor did not come on the entire time we were there. It just blew air. Fan on outside unit never came on. We did talk to the check in place but they referred us to the unit rental company, which I did on the only number I had. They told me what to do for early leaving, ie dishes and bedding, and thanked me for letting them know about the ac. By the third morning, I had had enough and could no longer stay in the unit, and left. The only saving grace was a window ac unit in the add on section of the unit that allowed for some fresh air.

We enjoyed our stay. The backyard water view at night was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet. The house stayed cool on a 100 degree day.

The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was small but nice. The dining area table and chairs probably need to be replaced. Other than that, no complaints and we really enjoyed out stay!

The fishing was fun, the rocket launch viewing was incredible. There are maybe 30 spots around as good as this one, 20 are homes, this had the best value.

We loved the views and being on the water. Wished we had our fishing poles as fish were jumping and pelicans diving into the water. The place was a little out dated and no water pressure in the bathroom at all. It was cheap and would stay again as the view was worth the stay.

Stayed for 21 days. Positives: back decking directly on the small waterway & marshland views; Long Island Village is a friendly community with nice amenities; home is priced lower than most..Not so positive: older home in need of some upkeep; smells musty/moldy; generally clean, but rusty/rough around the edges.

loved the location on water with an open view. The house condition is less than shown in the pics. I would not rent this one again.
