*Construction is being performed at Long Island Village. This may impact all areas. We do not have detailed information on when or where the streets will be affected. If your street is affected during your visit, the HOA will provide a complimentary shuttle as there may not be parking available. This construction will run through 2022.
*You must check in at the Long Island Village Resort Center to pay for parking passes (two vehicles maximum) and wristbands. This is an $90 fee that will be paid directly to the Long Island Village HOA on arrival and is not included in your Vacasa fees. If the LIV office is closed, you will need to drive up to the gate. On the keypad, there are instructions for contacting security on call; they will come to the gate. You will be registered and security will allow you through the gate for the night. You will need to go back to the LIV office the next morning to check in. They will provide you with vehicle passes and amenity bracelets.
We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet.
Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.

Nice community with activities. Large deck right on the water. Good location. Cleaning crew needs to focus on cleaning from wall to wall, not just beds and counter tops. I swept the floor and there was dirt and dust that had clearly been there a very long time.
We loved the views and being on the water. Wished we had our fishing poles as fish were jumping and pelicans diving into the water. The place was a little out dated and no water pressure in the bathroom at all. It was cheap and would stay again as the view was worth the stay.
Stayed for 21 days. Positives: back decking directly on the small waterway & marshland views; Long Island Village is a friendly community with nice amenities; home is priced lower than most..Not so positive: older home in need of some upkeep; smells musty/moldy; generally clean, but rusty/rough around the edges.
loved the location on water with an open view. The house condition is less than shown in the pics. I would not rent this one again.
Very run down, drawers don't open cupboards are stuck. Stove is not level hard to cook. Most faucets are backwards. Shower and toilet worn and look dirty.
The view, scenery was great. Inside first appearance is nice but roaches start coming out at night and the bathroom needed to be cleaned correctly. There was clipped hair in the shower, like someone had shaved. Probably would not come back to this property.
Great view off the back deck of SpaceX! Fished from the back deck. Port Isabel is wonderful.
I will start with positives. I loved the location overall. The people on the holiday park were all openly friendly. I do wish there were place to eat and or drink, that were within a reasonable walking distance. For meals out we were forced to drive. My main negative was the $80 dollar parking fee and facilities fee. I only finding out about it the day before arriving. We never used the facilities so that was useless fee for me and my spouse. The door code to the unit arrived on the morning of my arrival to my rental. My UK mobile provider did not provide mobile data in the US, so I did not have internet to access the door code. When I asked the lady at check-in if I could use their internet to access my mail to get the code I was told no. I had to go and find a place with public wifi to access my e-mail to get the door code. Luckily there is a Walmart near with public wi-fi. I don't blame vrbo for the issue regarding Wi-Fi, it would have been helpful if they had sent the door code via email and text. That would have been really helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful trip so it was not all bad.
I always love my stay at Long Island, but this time I was a little just a little disappointed. The shower door would not close and they said they would come fix it that day and call before they cam. That wasn’t the case they came the following day with out a call. And the knob on the shower handle was broken and we had to use the metal stem to turn on and the did the shower. Other that those things I loved my stay and will stay again.
Cute little place, clean but needs updating. Communication with the owner was terrible. I never received any response. My husband and I enjoyed fishing off the balcony and the view. We would stay again.
How stunned I was to discovery SpaceX in the distance from the huge wooden 2-level backyard deck with water lapping at the edge. Older manufactured small 1 bedroom with loud AC but awesome price and nice TV living room. Thank you!
