Tucked down a quiet cul-de-sac & sitting on absolute Cox Bay waterfront, your holidaying won’t get much better than in this family-friendly, humble yet perfectly comfortable holiday home. With direct private access to the bay, you can paddleboard, kayak or just frolic in the calm waters at your leisure. And if relaxing on dry ground is more your thing, you can enjoy serene ocean views from the Kitchen, Living & Master bedroom.

Built-in the popular Lockwood error of the’90s, this home is warm and cosy with a true kiwi bach interior style. The house can sleep up to six people across three bedrooms. An expansive deck off the dining and living room captures the beautiful north facing sun and includes a large outdoor dining table, chairs and covered in BBQ area. There are plenty of board games, books and puzzles to keep everyone entertained when you’re taking a break from the water, and the Smart TV along with WiFi provides options to watch your favourite movie on those more chilled family evenings.

The house has three bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilet, large open plan dining living area and a fully equipped kitchen with stovetop, oven and microwave.

The bedding configuration for each room are as follows:

You will have access to the entire property. There is a basement garage and additional room that is locked for the owners of the property only.

Nestled right on the waters edge, down a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Bay view bach is truly in a unique location.

Raglan has something for everyone. And this home is ideally located to explore the local area.

Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. Nearby Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.

Also on offer in Raglan is fantastic bushwalking, golf, mini putt and, of course, plenty of fishing.

The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.

Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

It is a 5-minute drive to the centre of Raglan and approximately a 25-minute walk. Further local beaches, Mount Karioi walking tracks, Mountain biking tracks, Bridal Veil Falls would all require a car to travel to.

Off-street parking for 2 - 3 cars and space for a boat (please request) and other sports equipment.

No pets.

Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.

For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.

All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.

Bay View Bach is located in a residential area - please no excessive noise. A noise curfew is in place between 10pm and 9am.

A BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.

Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder).

Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal.

Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.

Please note there is a motion sensored security camera at the entrance door. These devices are for the security of the property, but if there is reason to suspect misconduct from guests, the footage and data can be reviewed.

For any personal belonging/s that are left at the property, there is a $20 (regardless of size) minimum return fee + courier bag/packaging. This is to cover staff travel and time to the post office + administering the return charge.

Our cancellation policy offers a full refund up to 5 days before arrival. After that you receive 50% of the booking plus cleaning fee, less the first night.

    We had a great stay. The bach was comfortable and the views were great. We even extended an extra day, and the host was responsive and helpful with our request. Would definitely go back. ☺️
