Barefoot Beach Bungalow - 2bd/2ba HOUSE Just Steps from the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After searching several properties from multiple companies that were available for our 7 day vacation, we decided on this home because it had a garage included as an amenity. When we arrived, I immediately noticed a lockbox and the detached garage was locked. I contacted Blue Swell & had to leave a message for someone to call me back. Several hours later I called and left a second message. Approximately 10 minutes later, they returned my call. I asked the woman how to access the garage and she responded that she would find out and call me right back. Approximately 15 minutes later she called back to inform me that the garage was not included with the rental and their system must have glitched and added that to the amenities. The correct response would have been to accept responsibility for incorrectly listing this property, not blaming a computer system. I asked for compensation since I was denied access to the garage and was told again that someone would call me back. A week later and no call. We are all human and make mistakes, but if you don't take responsibility for them, then you are projecting an image of deceit and distrust.

The location of Barefoot Beach Bungalow is close to the Gulf and all the restaurants and Pier Park. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The house is very accommodating, appointed with all the necessary items. The Master bedroom bed was very comfortable, rare for many VRBOs. We definitely will stay again if it’s available.

The kitchen came equipped with pots, pans, utensils. The outside patio was perfect for the few rainy days we had to not be cooped up in a house. The location was not as close to town as we would have liked to be but still only a 10 minute drive from many bars, restaurants, and things to do. The house was clean, the outside was well kept, and the host answered any questions we had. The house did not have any beach chairs so prepare to either buy them or rent them. Overall, our trip was great, we would come back here.

Communication was exceptional, we were a bit worried as price was very low for what we are used to paying. That was unfounded, much nicer than price reflects! Beds comfortable, house was quiet and clean! We could not be happier!
