An ideal house from which to explore the park. Excellent views. Spacious accommodation. Good facilities. Intend to book this again if/when we return to Acadia.

Beautiful location across from Acadia NP. House is in a quiet neighborhood away from the Bar Harbor action but close enough to drive and park in a free parking spot downtown. We parked and walked everywhere. The house itself was roomy and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook a few times. Bob is very available for questions and had great suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing.

My husband and I and our 7 year old daughter had a wonderful week here! The property’s location can not be more perfect! It is close to Bar Harbor but feels like it is a world away from the busy town. The living space is sunny and cozy. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The pillows were not very comfortable, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. My daughter’s favorite trails are Dorr Mountain Ladder loop, Jordan Pond Path, North and South bubbles, Gorge Path. The section from Jordan Pond to South Bubble is the most challenging and fun, but all these trails are great for a little girl who likes to clime rocks! Hope this is useful!

Great property with amazing views located close to downtown Bar Harbor but far enough to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds this hilltop home. Home was very clean and they have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The host Robert was a great source of information (restaurants choices, best trails, Acadia National Park pass, etc) for our stay as he lives near the property. And we loved his golden retriever who would come up for the occasional visit. Would highly recommend renting this property if you want a great get-a-way in Bar Habor and the surrounding area.

The house is in a great location near town, surrounded by forest with beautiful views all around. Very well equipped, comfortable and homey. The owner was very available and also allowed us to use a parking spot in the main part of town whenever we wanted, which came in very handy at crowded times. Highly recommend this home!

Large home. Lots of stairs and levels. There is an issue with rodents. Could not sleep due to mice in the walls running around. Owner aware. Otherwise comfortable. Lots of stairs. Not for impaired or older folks. View is lovely.

The location was excellent. Access to parking in town was superb and made our visits to town stress free. The *only* thing I might suggest would be to provide more fans to cool the house in the evenings (we were there in a heat wave) and maybe dust off the ones that are there.
