Bamboo Garden House - Private, Clean & Modern - Friendly Neighborhood

Absolutely loved my time at the Bamboo Garden House. Have already booked another stay and am hoping it is available for all of my trips to Eugene. Very thoughtful, well-appointed property. Great communication with attentive, friendly hosts. Very clean and private. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about our stay! It was beautiful inside and out. The area was clean, calm, quiet and private. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Eugene.

This is a nice, modern property in an especially quiet nook of Eugene. There is a little park nearby that makes for a pleasant morning stroll, grocery and convenience stores within walking distance (not a short walk, but not an especially long walk either), as well as other stores and places to eat. Just a few points to consider: 1. The parking is a little tight. If you are driving a large vehicle or have a hard time maneuvering in snug spaces, you may need to park on the street. 2. The property has 2 dual heat/ac units, but when we visited and the outside temp rose above 80f, the units had a hard time keeping the temp pleasant in the main living area. If you are traveling during hot weather, ask the owners for suggestions. 3. The property is best for solo travelers or couples. The second bed is a sleeper sofa with an inflatable mattress in the living room. I didn't try the mattress out myself because I didn't want to go through the hassle of making/unmaking the bed every day. I chose to sleep on the sofa the old-fashioned way, and it was fine. I am 5'8 and I was able to sleep without bending my legs, but just barely. Also be advised, there is a lot of ambient light at night in the living room...from the clocks on the stove and microwave, the modem in the living room, and two skylights. If you are light sensitive at night, the living room sleeper may prove a poor match. Hope this helps!

This was my family's second time staying at Amy and Jason's property. We can't say enough positive things about their space. It was just as peaceful and serene as the first time. It is private, quiet, very clean, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Amy and Jason were very communicative and helpful during our stay as well. I would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Our experience in the Bamboo Garden House exceeded our expectations. Our family stayed here while work was happening in our home nearby in Eugene. Amy and Jason made us feel very at home during a stressful time. The space itself is very private, incredibly clean and well appointed. I am very sensitive to allergens and appreciated attention to a hypoallergenic home. I can't say enough positive things about what a comfortable and pleasant VRBO experience this has been for us!

This house is absolutely stunning. You can see and feel how much thought and care went into the design. The place was sparkling clean, and didn’t feel like a vacation rental. It felt like a beautiful custom home that they designed for themselves. Higher-end finishes like Paperstone counters, hardwood floors, modern furniture…I could go on. The gated entry was great, as was the lighting, the bathroom, the shower, the bed…the kitchen is gorgeous too.Suffice to say, you will not be disappointed if you book this house. Perfect guest house for my solo road trip up to Seattle to visit family. I was looking for a place with a secure parking spot and found this gem! Very quiet, safe, and clean. The A/C was great in the hot summer weather. Thank you for putting so much love and energy into the perfect guest house. My only regret is not checking out the rest of Eugene! I will need to have a proper visit next time. :)

This is the perfect place in Eugene. It is quiet, safe, and beautiful. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and considerate. It is especially good for those with sensitivities to fragrance or with environmental allergies. The design makes it restful and peaceful.

What a beautiful, well maintained, and eco-friendly property. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back if we are ever in Eugene again. Amy & Jason provided everything needed- essential supplies, detailed instructions, and good communication. We got in very late - they were able to accommodate us, left the porch light on, and even made the sofa bed so I could hop right in. Thank you!!

This vrbo is the cleanest, most attractive vrbo property we have stayed in. The gated entry and roomy front area assure privacy. Top of the line appliances. Excellent instructions in an info-filled notebook. Loved the chocolare bar and coffee! Nice touch!

This home is better than advertised - super clean, comfortable and cozy with everything needed for a relaxing stay. It's a short walk to Friendly Street Market and The Garden on Friendly (craft beer and food trucks). Super quiet and peaceful location. Amy and Jason were great hosts with very easy check-in/check-out process. Highly recommend this home for a stay in Eugene.

What a fantastic little gem! You can easily tell that the owners put so much thought and intention into designing and building the space. It was perfectly outfitted for my husband and me plus our teen. The sofa bed is a brilliant design and actually comfortable, the kitchen has everything you might want for a weekend or even a week away, the space is incredibly private and quiet. And the personal little touches made us feel cared for. We will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here several times now. It is a great location (5-10 mins from U of O). A quiet neighborhood, spotless house and amazing hosts.
