Would you like a quiet place, all to yourself, a few minutes from town, with a walking path, free bus transportation, and a mountain out your back door? No? Then don’t choose this place. It has all that and it’s full of things to do when you’re hanging out at the house. Puzzles, games, a stocked kitchen, BBQ grill and charcoal, etc. There’s too much to name it all! You really will enjoy your stay here!

We had SUCH a great time at Stern Haus! This house is set up perfectly for two families to share, with bedrooms on opposite sides of the living area and a TON of comfortable living space with a fully stocked kitchen that makes cooking a breeze. The location is incredible as well, right on the shuttle route, close to Warm Springs, yet surrounded by nature (we saw elk every day and heard coyotes nightly!). Would recommend this spot in a heartbeat.

There were elk, deer, and a fox you could spot from the back windows. Amazing!

Reviewer Comments: This home has nearly everything you could want, including a grill and charcoal, games, puzzles, well-stocked kitchen, and a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. I think ketchup and mayonnaise were the only things missing for the hamburgers we cooked. A walking path at the end of the driveway, leading all the way into town, or a bus stop within a couple minutes walk get you on your way. The mountain at your backyard tempts you to climb the steep slope and enjoy a good view. I highly recommend this home!

The property was the perfect place for our family to stay for a wedding! Just enough space for all of us to spread out but still be together. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. We were able to get ready for all our events without stepping on each other’s toes. The temperature was warm at first, but we go it to cool down and then it was quite nice. Keyless entry was very nice and the WiFi signal was quite strong. Only issue is that no map app will take you to the right place. It could use a sign or something to signify its location.

Perfect quiet property to relax in the valley, hike and fly fish.

No a/c which we new but screen door was ripped so couldn’t open the door due to wildlife off the back patio. Don’t plan to be in the unit before 8-9 pm this time of year. Exterior is falling apart. 2-4 docks falling off the roof into the driveway. I found a broom and moved them so no one spains an ankle. Sprinklers ran daily but lawn hasn’t been mowed yet this year. Rear patio isn’t usable and the grill is 10 years old. Got a text on the 3rd day before we left at 9:42 am that some 3rd party company was coming replace the stove between 11-130. Texted them that it was unacceptable and received a text back that we didn’t need to be there and they where reputable. Since they had our door code we cancelled our plans and waited all day . No communication and no one showed up. Since we weren’t coFor table with “someone “ having our door code we packed up and left 2 days early. Cost us 800.00 to not stay there. Since this is totally against VRBO policy we will report it and see where it goes. Dont do business with this company
