IMPORTANT: The property is located on a quiet street, with no thru traffic. This rental is not intended for Spring Break students or other groups inclined to party and make loud noise; the surrounding families expect quiet after 9pm and before 8am, and rentals will be made only to groups with at least one renter over the age of 25; please be prepared to advise the ages of the members in your group (approximate ages are fine for adults over the age of 40). This house is not to be used as a congregating/party house to host other people other than the official tenants, unless you do not exceed the maximum occupancy rules regarding people and vehicles.
Your half of the driveway can hold 2 vehicles, and therefore this property accommodates a maximum of 2 vehicles, with RVs, large trucks, and vehicles with trailers counting as 2 vehicles. These vehicles must be parked in the driveway during your stay, and not on the side of the street, in the front yard/grass, or on the Front Unit's side of the driveway. If you have only 1 vehicle, you may have one additional visiting vehicles at any given time, so long as the maximum people occupancy of the house is not exceeded, and so long as the visiting vehicle parks only in the driveway. The total driveway measures 19.5 feet wide and 45 feet long, meaning your half of the driveway measures 9.75 feet wide and 45 feet long. RVs, large trucks, or vehicles with a trailer may not be parked on the street at any time. No parking on the grass/front yard at any time.
We take the rules in the preceding 2 paragraphs very seriously, primarily out of consideration for our neighbors. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
Violation of the rules in the preceding 2 paragraphs are subject to immediate termination of the rental and/or withholding of security deposit.
House Rules/Other Notes:
*No Spring Break/party groups. No parties. No loud noise before 8am or after 9pm. This is a quiet street with families and retirees.
*No smoking inside the house.
*No construction groups or utility worker groups permitted.
*No work trucks or similar vehicles permitted (a single RV is okay).
*The driveway holds 2 vehicles for the Back Unit. No parking on the grass/front yard or along the street .
*The unit will be stocked with 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen, basic cleaning supplies, 2 dishwasher detergent tablets, 2 laundry detergent tablets, some fabric softener sheets, and 1 set of hotel-size toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and toothbrush/toothpaste). Depending on the size of your party and your length of stay, you may find it necessary to bring additional supplies for use during your stay.
*Lawn service may come during your stay to cut the grass (every week during summer, less frequently during winter).
Great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood but close to town and beaches. Will stay here again.
While the equipment, furnishings and decor are by no means new, everything is very clean, and functional. I did not need anything additional to the things provided, and everything worked well. The property is best described as being perfectly in keeping with its location and surroundings, and very clean and comfortable.
Blake was a wonderful host. We had some trouble with the WiFi but he acted quickly to fix the problem. The unit was adequate although I felt prior renters had been hard on it. We let Blake know of a few items that need some TLC and I have no doubt he will have these minor things fixed. We loved the screened porch and the yard for our dog. Would rent again.
Blake was great. Right after we got there the internet went out which meant no internet and no TV. The provider could not get a tech out for 4 days. Blake went and bought a hotspot and a wireless plan and hooked it up and it served both units. While not ideal it worked out. My wife was teaching some online language classes so internet was a must.
Blake was the consummate host; he and his staff were responsive and communicative throughout our month long stay. The property was ideal for our dog, with a large fenced back yard and a dog friendly park just across the street. Location is within walking distance of several restaurants, but the property itself is quiet and feels reclusive. We loved the screened in porch.... Very comfortable setup for 2 people.

We spent a week here, initially my husband and I and an adult daughter. That was a bit cramped, but after she went home it was fine for the two of us and our dog. The bed and bedroom were comfortable. The kitchen was serviceable and we cooked several meals there. When we didn't cook, we were able to take a very short walk to two different restaurants, Cafe Evergreen, with its eclectic menu which included a number of vegetarian options, and Captain Eddies for a fish fry. Both have large outdoor seating areas. Our dog liked the large fenced in yard, as well as the small Pocono nature trail and park that was right across the street. Cyclists (like my husband) are sure to enjoy the longer Legacy trail access (he road all the way to the ocean.) It is convenient to Venice shopping and restaurants and not far from the beach. Blake, the owner, was responsive to any questions or concerns we had.
This worked out perfectly for what we needed. It was just the right size for 2 people and was in a very quite neighborhood. Blake, our host, was great to work with. We would definitely stay there again.
My husband and 4 year old daughter stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located near everything you might need. We stayed in the back unit . The unit was sufficient enough for the 3 of us. It has everything and anything you might need from kitchenware to a multitude of apps on the ROKU. The listing was exactly what we received. The only minor complaint was the soft bed (but if you like that then you’ll be good to go) and the inability to sleep on the sofa bed because you are able to feel the springs as well as there are no blinds in the bedroom windows only drapes which illuminated the room heavily very very early in the morning. Bedsides that we had a great stay !
