AZ Ranch House, near UofA & Banner Hosp /midtown

The Ranch House is in a quiet neighborhood with a private and very lovely yard. We did quite a bit of porch-sitting. The house was artistically appointed and kitchen well supplied. Our host was very attentive to our needs. We loved our stay, as did our dog.

I was under the impression that this was a fenced in area (for my dog), however it is not. The listing made it seem like everything outside was shared, but that is not the case. One tenant gets one fire pit/area and the other tenant gets the other. Cant pick/no choice. The property is kind of tucked away and the driveway is tight and narrow. We missed it, and had to turn around and go back through. The laundry room smelled a bit like urine, and there was all kinds of leaves/debris in the washer. Overall didnt look clean. The furniture in the house is outdated and stained. The one recylined chair pictured in the listing had an ottoman, and it was broke, held together by one screw. My mother almost hurt her leg using it. The iron door lock/hook to the bathroom was broken and fell off when we tried to lock the bathroom door, almost got my toe (heavy as hell). The rugs in the bedroom were stained and nasty. The beds were uncomfortable. Kitchenware out dated. The decor was awful, and untasteful. No firewood available. So that i was not blamed/charged i contacted the host to advise of the broken items. At that point i was told the people that stayed prior to us was there for a week and they did a number.. I then used that time to ask about fire wood, and was told that wood was not provided. However, the host did come on the property later that day to bring some old wood from the back/woods part of the house. I will not stay here again. Totally embrassed by guests

Great place to stay for an easy drive to U of A. Good beds, nice bathroom and enough room for relaxing in the living room.

Chose due to proximity to son’s apartment for U of AZ graduation. Perfect choice- walking distance to Frank’s for breakfast!

Perfect place for our weekend visit to Tucson. It was clean, had everything we needed, super quiet and perfect for dogs. Can't wait to come back!

The Ranch was perfect for our needs while visiting family in Tucson. Very comfortable beds, extremely fluffy towels and a kitchen well appointed for cooking. The heating worked great as we encountered a cold snap. We loved the outdoor fire as well. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet. Robin and Bob were super helpful and kind. The visitors in the studio behind were lovely and respectful. We will definitely stay again.

Quaint, comfy, convenient and over all perfect for my friend and I to stay in Tucson for a few days. Personalized touches throughout the house that made the stay seem like staying at a friend’s getaway home instead of a rental. Loved it and would definitely stay there again!
