For our purposes, this property checked all the boxes. The rental fee was very attractive for us but as it turned out, the accomodations were excellent and the location suited us well.

It was a great property. Sufficient for our needs as we were visiting the area. The owner responded quickly to questions.

The view is great. We stayed two nights. First night was a bit loud. The people above us were getting up often and kept us awake. Second night, we turned on fans to drown out the noise and we slept well.

Everything was great, would definitely come back again.

There are so many wonderful things about this home that it's hard to know where to begin. The location was perfect-close to everything yet far enough out that a deer wandered into the front garden to graze. The home was also perfect, with comfortable furniture and a cozy bed. It was clean and homey with all the comforts of our own home. Teresa, the hostess, was easy to work with, friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home. Thank you for an excellent first visit to Utah!

Accommodations were cozy, comfortable and clean! Host was very pleasant and communicative. Beautiful views of the valley. Kitchen well stocked with everything you need, including delightful little coffees! Host left folder of local activities, dining, etc., which was helpful in planning our itinerary. Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

I stayed here while relocating to Utah. They were SO helpful and kind. It's a really cute spot, with an even better view.

The place was fabulous. It had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with items. Even though we didn't cook much, it was nice to have pans available that were in decent shape and appropriate utensils. Theresa has gone above and beyond to make sure the place is comfortable and has everything you need. Pac Man in a great bonus!!

Was solid, we basically just slept and got ready there for the local activities, but was easy and comfy.

This VRBO is the place to stay. The owner has thought of everything. It’s like a home away from home.

Had a wonderful stay. Very thoughtful host. Many extra “just in case” items are provided. Comfortable beds. Love the blackout curtains to help with needed rest. My only hesitation would be staying during winter weather due to the location on a hill….but I’m also from where it never snows so I’m a wimp in that area. Will definitely be checking availability on this one in the future. Thanks for a great experience!

Teresa has looked at this home as if she were to stay here with her own family. She hasn’t missed a single thing. From games, bandaids, spices, fans, toiletries, snacks for you and the delivery drivers, the list goes on and on. There’s nothing she hasn’t thought of. This is a hidden gem I’m afraid to leave a positive review of and have a difficult time booking later. :) Theresa deserves all the positive reviews! She’s done an amazing job with this property!

We really liked this cozy 2 bedroom apartment. It was perfect for us as we visited family in the area. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and the washer/dryer came in handy because we were traveling for 2 weeks. I also liked the nice extras like snacks and kcups for coffee. Would definitely stay here again!

We needed a place close to BYU campus. This was a very short drive to campus and convenient to other attractions in the area. We enjoyed the view and found out that there is a road right behind the property where you can do a short 10 minute walk to get an even better view. The property is also only a short walk to the Orem/Provo trail system that we exercised on during our stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We even saw a family of deer feeding right by the the street one day! Teresa was very responsive to any needs we had during the visit.

Location is Great. Near Provo Canyon in a quiet safe neighborhood. Beautiful yard and surroundings. Parking is a bit interesting as the property is on the side of a high steep hill. We loved our relaxing stay here.

Easy to find, and a very clean place. We had a great weekend. Very friendly host.

It was the perfect location. Close enough to the mountains for hikes and scenic drives as well as shopping/dining. Lots of little touches to make it like being at home. Enough blankets, towels, pillows and all the things needed to stay warm and cozy on the snowy days. Got our groceries at Harmons and fell in love with that store - great variety! Ate at Bangkok Wasabi which is Thai & Sushi and had Pad Kee Maow, Shashimi and Green curry. Service and food was great! Also tried Joes Cafe for breakfast/brunch and it was delicious with fast friendly service. Teresa is super helpful and kind. We'd stay again! Thank you Teresa!

Our stay was super nice! We were impressed with some thoughtful details like mini magnetic flashlights in the rooms in case of power outages, complimentary shower amenities, lots of cooking equipment, and a closet full of other amenities in case any were forgotten. The space did tend to run cold, so just be prepared to have the thermostat up high if you stay in the winter. Definitely not a bad thing though as the gas fireplace connected to the thermostat provides a really lovely ambiance. Be prepared for the steepest driveway you’ve ever seen, but the view from the house that overlooks the city below and the mountains is just absolutely stunning. If you’re like us and were nervous about being two girls renting a basement unit for the first time, fear not. They have sealed off the door connecting the upstairs and downstairs with a countertop breakfast seat area, which really made us comfortable. We had one little hiccup when the host had forgotten she had an appointment to get something done with the house, but she was so accommodating and kind that she bought us coffee to make up for it. Overall, an awesome stay and we would stay here again. (: Thank you, Teresa!!

Close to Provo Canyon, Sundance, etc. Clean, great communication, and overall good experience.

Met my adult son for a ski getaway and this was great place to stay, clean, convenient and comfortable. We skied at Sundance which was an easy 15 minute drive. Restaurants and grocery stores were a 5 minute drive. Check in was effortless and place was well stocked with anything you would expect. Will stay again

Owners helpful and friendly, location perfect for our needs, gorgeous views and walking in neighborhood as well as foothills paths. Although I totally understand the need to put plastic coverings over mattresses, I am a germ aphob, it makes sleeping a bit sweaty. My suggestion is to bring a cloth mattress cover if you can otherwise just sleep knowing there won’t be any bedbugs! I would definitely stay again!

It was centrally located not only for our needs but also for the area attractions. The view was great and the hosts were personal and friendly. They actually seem to enjoy the experience of letting people share their wonderful property. The accommodations were quaint and comfortable. The placement of the living room furniture allowed you to sit in the warmth of the house and still enjoy the beautiful view.

We were in town for our daughter's treatment at the Center for Change. The property was wonderful, with plenty of space and an absolutely beautiful view. The owner was nice and helpful. I want to bring my whole family back to Utah and this is where we will stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Teresa is a caring and responsive host. Her home is lovely. Everything was perfect. We loved all of her welcoming touches and the view was beautiful! An especially fun surprise was all of her Halloween decorations! We look forward to staying again.

I came to Utah for a training in Orem. This place was beautiful, comfortable, and gave me the quiet I needed between days of training. Great location to access hiking trails, amazing views from the front porch and Teresa could not have been nicer!!! I will be back!

This was a great place to stay. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. There were a lot of nice little touches that made the stay feel homey and comfortable. It was also fun seeing the Halloween decorations that went up while we were there. There were two things we didn't like. One was having to park on the street and there's quite a hill to walk up to get to the rental. The other, there was no air conditioning and even though we were there in late September it was very warm. There was a fan we could use in the bedroom but it was still pretty warm for sleeping. Overall the stay was fantastic and it was beautiful looking out over the valley in the mornings and evenings. Thank you!

I spent a very pleasant three nights here. The location is a quiet residential area but is close to shopping and to Provo Canyon. It was very peaceful at night - no noise from neighbors or cars nor from upstairs. The host was very responsive and made my stay enjoyable. The air conditioner is a floor unit in the living room, not central air, but it works well and the rooms stay pretty cool even without it. There are also ceiling fans and floor fans available to use. The bathroom and kitchen come well stocked. Overall I was very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

The unit was just as described. I would definitely stay there again. While I didn't get an opportunity to cook, I peeked into the cabinets and it seemed like it was stocked with everything necessary to cook a great meal or bake. The street was very quiet and the location had easy access to downtown Orem.

Nice

This basement apartment is beautiful, clean, fresh, private, roomy, well equipped and nice and cold (when it was over 90 degrees outside) with an amazing view and a delightful porch to sit and watch the sunset over the mountains and lake. You may want to know that parking is at the bottom of a steep 30 yard driveway or at the bottom of a stairway. It was no problem for us since we are healthy and able. You may also like to know that the air conditioning is a standing unit that works amazingly well to cool the two bedroom home. It worked great for us. You may also like to know the beds are over 30 inches high. It was a challenge for us (over 60 years old) to get into the beds. We enjoyed our stay and have talked about staying here again.

We had a great stay at this property. We were very comfortable and felt as though we were staying at Mom and Dad’s house. The host provided so many amenities that it almost felt as though we were at home. The only thing that I would want folks to be aware of is that there is a steep driveway to go up so it might not be the best for older folks. Just my thoughts though. Everything else was great!
