Awesome Canyon Lake Home: Rooftop Deck & Fire Pit!

Great visit while in town for a show at Whitewater. The house was perfect for us. The Host was extremely friendly and provided prompt responses to any questions we had. The only suggestion I would mention is to bring any spices or other kitchen related items (olive oil) if you plan on cooking. Plenty of plates, silverware, pans, but the house was lacking in other items (kitchen related). Regardless, we had a great trip and would not hesitate to stay here again! Lots of deer around as well!

My family and I have stayed at a few rental houses over the years and we’ve been duped a time or two. Where the reviews or images didn’t match up with the house when we’ve arrived. Luckily that was not the case for this home. We had a wonderful time. And the nature trail up the road was amazing. The house was clean, well maintained, and in a great location. Will be back!

Dry nice cozy house. Great neighborhood.

Hope for good weather, floating less than a mile away. Plenty of deer that came up to us. Will need to bring spices if your cooking outside of that offers everything you need! We will be back!

Great place to stay! Only issues were: 1) it was very windy on our stay, so the tree branches kept hitting the roof and making thumping noises. So maybe trim the trees. 2) no ice or ice maker. At least need some ice trays for drinks.Deer were abundant throughout the stay eating at the deer feeder. That was enjoyable to watch.Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the rooftop or fire pit due to the wind conditions and on/off rain.

We were happy with our stay! The area was beautiful and the house felt both cozy and spacious. The host was very responsive. The rooftop deck was very cute, and we didn’t use the fire pit but it looked like a great place to hang out with a group of friends. I think this would have been perfect for a group of adults or a couple! We came as a family with a baby and had to temporarily move some items to make the space more baby-safe. There were lots of possibly breakable decor so might not be the best fit for families with young kids, but we made it work for us!

Everything was just perfect. The property is great, the house had everything we needed and was very clean. I notice all of the little details and any spec of dust and I was highly impressed. I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that i found missing was light bulb in backyard where we do bbq.

We had a fantastic time staying at the property. The views from the rooftop deck were gorgeous and super relaxing. Everything was well cleaned and maintained. David was very easy to work with and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was great and the house was beautifully updated and comfortable! The outside was fun and the observation deck was fun for star gazing. The only issue that we had was with the egg thermostat. It was really hot while we’re there and the thermostat would reset to 75° several times throughout the day.

Last weekend, the guys and I had the ultimate getaway, and I can't wait to share how incredible it was! We rented this amazing property nestled in the hills, and let me tell you, the views were absolutely stunning. Every morning, we woke up to the sight of rolling hills bathed in golden sunlight—pure magic!Getting into the property was a breeze. We arrived, and within minutes, we were settled in and ready to relax. The ease of access meant we could kick off our adventure right away, with no hassle.Now, let's talk about the backyard oasis. This place felt like it was designed specifically for a group of friends looking to bond and have a great time. There was a fantastic grill setup, perfect for our BBQ nights, a cozy fire pit for sharing stories under the stars. The entire space was like a paradise for us—comfortable, inviting, and just plain fun.The location was spot on too. We were just a 25-minute drive from the Comal River, where we spent a day tubing and soaking up the sun. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with the river adding that extra bit of excitement to our trip.Honestly, we had such a blast that we're already planning our next visit. This rental was everything we hoped for and more. If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind and enjoy some quality time with your friends, this is it. We’ll definitely be renting again—it’s become our new go-to spot!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house is very charming, updated and VERY clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. The welcoming deer on the property was a plus. Definitely recommend this listing!!
